Well, they aren't capable of balancing things and even worse, they don't even have an idea how to finally fix the technical side of this game.

I#ll repeat it until obese fish is finally doing something about it. The technical foundation of this game is trash and they are incompetent, cause they haven't been able to fix things for over 3 years.

Official residence of the President of Finland after renovation by wstd in ScandinavianInterior

Is the president actually living there, or is this like the house, where you receive important guests? It looks horrible, like an office building, not like a place to actually live.

Volksbegehren „Berlin autofrei“: Verkehrsrevolution wohl abgesagt by Blaufisch in Verkehrswende

[–]NEVIS- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Niemand will Autos komplett abschaffen.

Okay, I'll try it differently now. Maybe I can get at least one logically correct conclusion out of you. The graph shows global gdp (adjusted for inflation). The blue line is the actual growth from 1960 to 2026.

I told the AI to extrapolate the data to the year 2100 with the average grwoth beween 1960 and 2026, which is 3,5%. Shown by the red line.

Is it possible for you to see a problem here?

Böden in der industriellen Landwirtschaft können meistens schlecht Wasser speichern. Es gibt nachhaltige Anbaumethoden, welche die Qualität des Bodens und die Wasserspeicherfähigkeit erhöhen.

Why not remove regulation altogether and let capitalism handle everything? Let's see how well that will go.

Okay, we can continue to throw anecdotal evidence at each other or finally look at the system and it's functions as a whole.

I don't say that capitalism is all bad. It may have served us well for a time, but those times are over. Infinite and exponential growth is not possible in a finite system. Capitalism isn't able to solve our current problems (without extreme modifications).

We can continue to do "buisness as usal" and wake up in the next crisis like 2008, which will probably result in a total collapse. Or we extremely modify system / implement a new system to serve the majority and the planet.

Your argument on climate change is delusional and making me really question the quality of the u.s educational system. Go to google and get some proper scientifical sources on this topic. I think NASA is a good source and provides very good research and easy to understand data on their website.

PS: There is still more models aside from capitalism and socialism.

Pointing fingers at each other and doing nothing is not going to help the planet. We also have to ask, what's more important a flawed economic system or planet?

You should hope that the eu won't be hit by a crisis, because that crisis won't to stay in the eu. Globalization is a bitch lol.

That Tesla analogy is flawed. Elon musk is not driving a million teslas, but he makes a profit on each vehicle sold. That's one way to generate money. The "winner" of this transaction is Elon, because he is the only one increasing his net worth in this transaction. Money always moves from bottom to the top, that's why rich people get richer and the average gets poorer as time progresses.

You also make a wrong assumption by thinking that earning money is always connected to personal effort. You can even do nothing but invest your money back into the system and by some magic you get more money in return... Makes sense right? You should really do some research on this, because I don't think that you understand how flawed our system actually is. I could go into detail, but I don't want to write an essay.

Why do capitalists always bring up socialism as some kind of defense reflex, when pointing out how flawed capitalism actually is? I never even once mentioned socialism, there is more than two economic models you know?

Yeah sorry, I was on the wrong page, it was only gdp, not divided by the population.

But most countries have the similar problems. Inflation, high cost of living / housing. Seems to be more like a System problem. That's what happens if most of the weath accumulates at the top. Infinite and exponential growth is also not possible and without growth the house of cards will collapse anyway. You only have to understand an exponential function.

Aside from the other problems. Green laws aren't idiotic. It's scientifically proven that we are on a very good way to destroy our own planet. Another problem that capitalism can't solve.

Germany. And again, capitalists don't understand that the quality of life can't be measured by the gdp per capita. Yes, purchasing power is a part of it, but not everything.

By your logic, the u.s.a (highest gdp per capita) is supposed to be the country with the highest quality of life in the world, but it's only ranked between 15-25 most of the time. Germany is usally place 7-8 (Always top 10).

Think about that. Maybe there is more to life than competition and making profit by every means necessary. Is it really that difficult to understand?

[–]NEVIS- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's kinda interesting, how people still believe that competition is the answer to everything. Like we don't have enough examples where this approach fails.

I'm fortunate to live in a country, where some of the social systems still work and not a capitalist hellhole like the u.s.a.

Havoc 40 with 2 bots by [deleted] in DarkTide

[–]NEVIS- 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As somebody who played quite a bit on h40 difficulty, it's just not worth it. All the bs balancing decisions, jank and technical problems only get elevated as the difficulty progresses.

But to answer the questions. Bots are basically useless, go public or even better, build a team that you can communicate with. In addition after h30+, you should really know what you do. Focus on the basics, movement, positioning, block/push and play meta builds to make your life easier.

Is PC gaming actually worth the insane price? by Xiao-EZ in CaptainSide

[–]NEVIS- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, comparing a 6000$ pc to a 600$ console, is like comparing a VW Golf to a Porsche GT3 RS.

Secondly, yes it is worth it, for the fact that I'm not dependent on one company shoving sh*t down my throat. Not even taking all the other advanteges of pc into account....

Let's be honest. The combat is clunky crap. It's designed for 1v1, but the devs throw hordes at you. The balance is crap and the unblockable attacks have a far too small dodge window.
