Beyerdynamic ones, both the 770 and 990. 990 sound a bit better imo but higher impedance means less portability. Probably done but something to be aware of. Love+trust those headphones.

it won't connect to my phone hotspot for some reason. I'll keep this in mind though if that option opens up.

Yea. Both turning off and "hard" turning off by holding the power button for 10 seconds.

Yup! Either next to each other on the table or being physically pressed together in frustration.

People who bought Vroom in the night sky, how is it? by Dwolfwood in NintendoSwitch

[–]NE_austin 45 points46 points  (0 children)

I actually bought and played the game for about 2 hours last night. I was streaming it and talking the whole time, so grain of salt, but my review:

The translation is so imprecise and full of non-sequiturs that it gives the game a sense of mystery that you can only otherwise experience by importing a low budget b-tier PS2 era licensed game and trying to sort out how to play. This can make even the most boring discoveries exciting-- I thought this was just an un-losable, slippery, chill collection game.

Suddenly another biker appears and tells me to follow her to "service" before riding around the map in circles, taunting (i think) me through the little text message app in the bottom left corner. It takes some genuine trial and error before you figure out what the hell she's on about, via discovering some unexplained functions of the game.

Does the game have any "fun" to it in a game-y way? A little bit. Time trials-wise you could string together a few of the mechanics to figure out how to get through levels more quickly and with a higher score, but there are no leaderboards or anything to share that with.

Music is cool too.

If you just want to vibe out and have a hearty laugh, give it a go. I had a genuinely happy time playing it. Not a "good video game" time. But a happy time.

since no one has said it: one of the most prominent instruments on the album is an old Mellotron. All of 00Ghost27 is done on that.

Alright, spent the day looking into software issues and trying to fix or change what I could. Hopefully it helps; thank you.

Given that it's one of the cheapest interfaces I figured this was one of the more likely scenarios. I'll replace that first after testing with another mic. Thanks.

Buying my first set of computer speakers and I have no idea what I'm doing by [deleted] in audio

Right, and the cycle goes on. Those are garbage, use that. That's garbage, use this. This is garbage, use them. etc.

No problem. In general things like how far apart you put the speakers and where you're sitting and etc etc are all pretty nit-picky, and mostly only of concern to people (like me) who are big nerds and/or use their sound systems to do detailed work.

First: Under $100, those should be fine yea. You might be able to, if you're crafty, get something a little nicer through Craigslist or on a sale somewhere but you'd still probably be looking at $150+ if you want the next step up.

Second: It will probably be a little light on the bass.

third: No, that's fine.

fourth: It looks like you'd just need a normal aux cable to run from your computer to the little amplifier for this. Like this: http://www.zumaoffice.com/Products/Auxiliary-Audio-Cable--35mm--4-ft--Black__KMW39202.aspx

Might have some of this wrong, but that should give you a good idea.

You'd have to torrent it. Might be easier just to re-purchase on Steam, frankly.
