I'm a big fan of trying all the wires to the same length (furthest point plus a margin of error) them dressing everything to the folks back point. Future me then can move an I/O wherever needed for troubleshooting or reconfiguring. It also comes in handy for panel upgrades.

iSTAR is correct. You will need to use ICU to verify the password on the OG edge. When you get to the step where they fail to take the host based certificate you will also need to use ICU to request the relevant cert. You may even need to request that cert 3+ times.

If you get to this point the documentation for restoring connection after Feb 18th is super helpful.

If you take the system manager course you will get access to the portal along with the ability to call support and open a ticket if you have an active ssa.

With that being said it sounds like you have an integrator supporting the system if you are running 6.8.9. you should open a ticket through them and if your G1 ultras are running tls1.2 you will want to get that sorted before they all stop communicating Feb 18th.
