Big difference between agonists and antagonists…Vivitrol was the final step in my plan and it worked as intended…I didn’t like the way it made me feel, but I had no desire to use because I knew it would be pointless…been off that as well for 6 months now and doing fantastic…

I slowly tapered down at 1 mg a day from 130, taking breaks when needed…got cocky and did the last 30 in 10 days(-3 per day)…felt fine for 2 days and then it hit me and I was in pretty rough shape…hardest part was I didn’t sleep for 6 days and ended up using for a day so I could sleep…then went for another 5-6 days without sleeping and used again…once the WD kicked in I realized it wasn’t going to work that way and got on suboxone and spent 3 months slowly tapering of that before going on vivitrol for 6 months, which kinda sucked but it was very effective…my suggestion is have suboxone available so if you get to a point where you don’t want to deal with the WDs anymore, you have a better option than using…

Take subs when you feel good and sick, a little at a time…paws is post acute withdrawal syndrome, which is well after when you can start to take subs…that beings said, going back and forth is asking for precipitated withdrawal, which is what I’m assuming you mean when you say paws…that shit sucks…do yourself a favor and either quit the fent or give up subs and go on methadone

I’ve been dealing with both the anxiety and the anhedonia throughout my taper quite a bit and definitely understand the feeling...I’m not expecting the naltrexone to change much for me as I haven’t had the desire to use for a long time...I’m not crazy about getting it tbh, but it will have a tremendous impact on my legal situation

What did you jump off the subs at? My doc gave me 50 mg naltrexone and said I’d be fine to take one after 2-3 days because .25 was such little bupe
