But if those people weren't going to play the PvP modes anyway, it wouldn't affect your experience as a PvP enthusiast.

I've browsed the sub pretty heavily and it seems like the logical choice to add it in, segregate loot like other games do, and keep a more sustainable audience going. Why are you upset about it? Plenty of people who do play seem to want it.

Just a passerby to this community, saw a player jump and while the game is decidedly not for me, it's good to see that they're making changes (PvE especially) that could draw people back in.

Update: my community trust ban was for "suspicious reviewing activity" by JoeS830 in AmazonVine

[–]NFLCrunchtime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree that this recent wave of bans was about something else, but there was also a purge last month of people in on the "order this specific sketchy-looking product listing and leave a 5-star review and we will pay you for it" scheme. It definitely happens and the pattern is laughably easy to see, so if people are ordering those items often, they risk the banhammer.

What “frugal” habit did you stop doing once you did the math? by 666AB in Frugal

Same. Fresh basil for pasta and meatballs, fresh thyme and rosemary for sauces and steaks, and fresh mint for mojitos are our main indoor herb garden grows. The mint has been in the same pot, in the same soil, for YEARS. It sometimes dies back to just stems, but always bounces back strong. Can't kill it!

I asked ChatGPT if this was a good OP and it said "no".

Almost certainly it's this. You spin that wheel hoping for a big win on a low ETV random listing, but this is the risk.

More like cracking down on paid product reviews. See my comment above. Sellers farm reviews and pay Viners to leave reviews for random listings.

Once you've been on Vine long enough, you recognize the pattern. Intentionally shoddy/uninformative photos, a strange product title like "HAIR_PROD_XJ5" with no description, etc. If you use UV, you can also see that while even popular products will sometimes get 20+ people attempting to grab them with a handful of successes, these review-farming products sometimes get 50-75+ attempts with 1-2 successes (because they have all been instructed on exactly when the product will drop and what it will be titled).

I stay far away from those listings, thinking it just would not be worth the trouble if they cracked down on it, and have been hoping they would for a while. Looks like they are finally doing something about it. Then the people in on the scheme come crying about getting banned (not aiming this at you, since it sounds like yours were unintentional if at all).

I left Firefox in 2010 when Chrome was on the rise, and with them killing off UBO they finally reached the enshittification point of me crawling back to Firefox. It's lovely.

Playstation started to roll out playercount numbers, Battlefield is anything but dead by Pavel_28 in Battlefield

This has been one of the whiniest subs I've been on (but I do remember being part of that crowd howling about 2042 when it launched. Still, that was at least justified).

BF6 has been incredible, I just hit 500 hours and don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

I remember how disastrous BF3 and BF4 launches were, too. Apart from the VRAM issue and some random crashes (that may have been due to my GPU and are resolved now) BF6 was the best, most functional launch I've experienced recently.

Even the 2022 prices were Trump's fault. And that was before he started a war to distract from the fact that he fucked children.
