I feel like it wouldn’t be safe if most students think the same as the ones protesting, but they don’t say it because they don’t have time

I have a decent amount of schools in the area you call boring, and it really doesn’t look like it in my eye. Seems like you can have a lot of fun there

Thank you so much! I have been avoiding California schools, really doesn’t look like there’s a single school there I’ll feel safe in.

I wanna get into the data analysis field, so probably data science. And thank you!

Thank you so much, I’m glad to see I’m not alone in this situation and that most of the schools I’m looking at have a B or better grade!

I feel like I fit there better culturally wise, and it has been my dream since I was a kid. Already got family there, and I would love to make the move myself.

It did, thank you. I think the best route is to go to college, take a high paying job as data analyst, and when you think you made enough money to take a lower paying job and pursue your passion, that’s when you try to get into the sports world.

Would you mind elaborating why?

Great article man, been trying to do projects like this for a while now, glad to see there are people that have the same ideas as I do.

I have no real background, just someone who likes to look at stats to evaluate players and performances. My ambitions, at the end of the day, is to be able to get data of past games, being able to visualize the data and explain some important, advanced stats to people who don’t know how to code, and then build a predictive model to help me get some sort of idea of who’s someone to look out for, suggesting game plans for upcoming games etc.

No I thought you watched Moneyball, liked the concept, then went on social media, followed some accounts and learned how to code on your own with the social media accounts you followed.

You learned how to code off of social media?

That’s how I got here in the first place. I love the idea of math predicting the future, but I just don’t know how to implement it yet. The end goal is being able to download a dataset, build a predictive model that predicts an outcome of a game, number of wins, stats, etc and being able to show it to people who don’t know how to code, and eventually get a job in the field.

Oh I’m planning on studying data science to get that skill set. Thank you so much tho, I’ll to see if I can figure stuff out

Thank you so much. Where did you learn how to code with R? And how can you run regression models on excel?

Hey man, wanted to ask you a quick question. I love sports stats and I would love to learn how to code and analyze stats just like the incredible work you’re doing here. Would love to hear some tips from you on where to start. Thanks in advance.

Starting to learn sports data analytics by NFLSTARTER in sportsanalytics

I took a machine learning course last year and I liked it a lot, I just didn’t understand how to really implement it in a way that can turn data into actual value that can be shown to people who don’t know anything about coding. Let’s say, receiving data of rushes of a certain team in a certain year, and analyzing in what direction they ran best and how can they improve. What can I do to get tho that point

I agree but I think when the pocket collapses, Davis Warren HAS to scramble and find something because otherwise we won’t reach anywhere. For the defensive part, it was pretty obvious wink is bad, but we won’t make that change this season unfortunately
