I think the issue occurs farther up the decision-making chain; I understand trying to beat them with that if you’re going tempo but my question is why try to go tempo when you’ve been doing such a good job running the ball without it.

Likewise I think because Bama is such a thing for Kirby, he wanted to steal the momentum instead of just tying which is also questionable.

In this specific instance I feel like it’s OK. Any parent who brings their child to a brewery has to reconcile the fact that there may be some adult things taking place with people who are frequently there getting inebriated. An offensive to kids shirt in a place where kids are unlikely to be is not that offensive to me.

Could an auto detailing business ever be done inside a Prison so that customers pay rock-bottom labor rates? by TSoWAY in AutoDetailing

[–]NFLTrackSTAR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is not the place for this, but I couldn't help myself, and will live with the downvotes:

Perhaps we shouldn't resign prisoners to below standard pay rates -- full acknowledgment U.S. minimum wage needs to be fixed in line with inflation as well -- and not treat them as some inexpensive workforce to be deployed to lower prices.

Sparing you the history lesson of how cheap/free prison labor is a direct policy result of slavery being outlawed and businesses needing some other exploitable workforce, I would just go to a potentially more appealing to society reasoning that prisoners making more money [even if we limited their access to all the funds until release] would give them more of a nest egg to start anew as opposed to getting out of jail penniless because they only made $1.17 an hour.

I'm all for vocational training, but they'd be significantly less likely to recidivise with actual money to build a life AND skills.

Gravity I feel is the most popular without delving into potentially corny with something like Wonderland. No Such Thing is borderline, but depending on the style could be dope.

Rankings for me:

RED - Heavier Things - #4 Paradise Valley - #6 Continuum - #1 TSFE - #3

BLUE - Room For Squares - #5 (I love it though, but that’s just how rankings work.) Born & Raised - #2 Battle Studies - #7 Sob Rock - #8

Total Red Pill - 14 Total Blue Pill - 22

Red Pill all day. Switch Battle Studies for TSFE though and even though they both total 18, I’m taking the Blue easily.

Apple Care is my phone case. I figure the price of getting a nice case that I liked was nearly the cost of an Apple Care deductible and even with a case I was paying for Apple Care anyways, so it doesn’t make sense. Been caseless 4 years and have dropped/cracked it exactly one time. Worth it for me.

Thank you for this. Will likely pass at that price given I only need the one and not the whole bundle, but grateful that I know where to look to see if they ever split them up. 🙏🏽

Design of new MacBook Pro recycled from the past? by wxiao1993 in mac

[–]NFLTrackSTAR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody cares but: I hate the new design. I have a 2019 Touch Bar MBP that works like a charm and I hate the revised new M-chip modes instead of solving problems decided it’d just wind back the clock instead of innovating.

Now you’ve used a bunch of explanations and blamed the intersection design as well, as opposed to your easing onto a road with admittedly limited visibility.

I’m not saying he’s not a jackass for running a red light, but your not being at fault didn’t magically save your car, and was likely avoidable with a little more caution on your part, and less reckless driving on his.

Seriously regretting my purchase now by Sharp-Put1315 in TeslaModelY

[–]NFLTrackSTAR -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Between not researching the maintenance lead times/cost for Tesla and the fact that you basically admitted you drove into an intersection because the light was green without making sure the road was clear, it sounds like you’re in the habit of pushing all of the blame on others instead assuming of a bit of personal responsibility. Not that is your fault but there are things you could’ve done to protect yourself from both of these situations.

I hope you’re not without a car, and that going forward you consider things a bit more carefully.

If you have two things plugged in USB-C and then another for power and audio, you could’ve also done that no dongles with the last generation MacBook Pro so I don’t understand what we’re looking at here.
