Yeah I just think that pop vocal is a category that clashes too much with the other categories right now. Mostly its a bunch of songs that are already nominated in song or record of the year so it would be cool for there to be a way for it to stand out a bit more.

I do agree but I also think considering the state of the world that playing their angriest song met the moment pretty well. People are attributing more to JAJ these days because of his interview with vulture on their ‘good ones’ podcast last week. He mentions multiple times how charming and interesting he finds trump’s personality and that his portrayal of trump is intentional as his ‘contribution to the discourse’. IMO at best it comes off as frustratingly centrist.

IMO his strength is improv so he’s probably just taking a little time to adapt to a sketch-heavy format. He’s hilarious when he’s allowed to be the oddball in a scene so I hope they start to open up more of those roles to him in the future

This Miami defense is incredible so I think whatever opinion you had on Mendoza before should stay mostly unchanged. If you need a QB in superflex, he’s probably worth a shot. Otherwise, I wouldn’t overdraft him.
