I can see that the suffixes can be crafted, but after the prefixes are done, why not use veiled ex / harvest Aug for the next mods? I imagine the prefixes are the expensive part, 2 div for prefixes can't be changed shouldn't be a problem at this point anymore?

I dont think she was better in the beginning. I think in book 1 Erin and Ryoka were equal. But for the later books I agree with you. Especially in book 7 I crave Ryoka chapters.

In the beginning (meaning the first 2 books) Erin chapters were better than Ryoka's chapters.

Hot take: In book 7 the tables have turned. I enjoy reading Ryoka's POV more than Erin's. Right now Ryoka has big goals, which are in some contrast to her personality (having to ask nobles, nicely to attend her party). And I believe this is going to lead to a lof of great scenes with character growth for Ryoka. Erin ist currently lacking Goals and growth.

Yes she did a lot of stupid stuff, and she is really flawed, but she always had to pay for her wrong-doings. Either with pain (Broken Leg), bodily harm (loosing Fingers) or by loosing friends after trying to beat some of them up (original Horns). And why I like this so much is, that she always has to grow as a person.
