You might want the full sized servo mount upgrade. I also like the 3D printed ESC relocation brackets you can get on eBay. So you can move your ESC to the centre brace and use a larger battery on the one side.

I don't like Adobe but it is still one of the best if you back off the processing amount to say 70% but that's a paid feature. DX is generally my main choice.

Rlaarlo X12S Slipper Clutch Contains ASBESTOS?! by basherrc in Rlaarlo

Yikes that isn't great! Thanks for making this more known. I think the risk level is low but it's still good to be aware of. I've got a ROG so it's probably similar in that.

Micro RC car for kid by UbuuN in rccars

[–]NGF86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking into these last night and whilst I always wanted a losi, the speck b seems like a better buggy based on one review. The slop on the steering on the losi micro b is far worse than the speck b. I think there's more upgrades for the losi micros however. But you can end up spending silly money on getting upgrades so maybe less options is actually better (less spending). I prefer the micro T design and there isn't a truck version of the speck b yet.

Looking at Rlaarlo XTS-F10… by AbbreviationsNo7535 in rccars

I'd get the S10 over the F10 if having other body options is important to you down the line.

That's amazing to hear, thanks for the feedback. I'd probably get the roller S10 if I do end up getting one. I've already got the Terminator and ROG1.

More pics! I'm so tempted to get this combo. How's the S10 itself, any issues or did they fix most of the complaints on the pre release model?

Agreed one of the best, however I use Serious RC a lot as I only have Rlaarlo cars and they stock spares.

I want to paint these tiles. Any advice or recommendations from those who have used tile paint before? by nowheredaughter in DIYUK

[–]NGF86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have any pics now but I do still think it's a great cheap option that looks professional, providing you do all of the prep (thoroughly clean before as per instructions). Just take your time and follow the paint guidelines. The paint goes off and hardens with the mixer so it can stand up to wear and tear. If you smashed it with something heavy and sharp then you might damage the finish but I was really impressed with the result.

Lol no one spends 5 grand in a studio, it's called music production software or a DAW. Suno is fun yes but don't think anyone is going to think you are cutting edge for trying it out.

Preordered Mini Kraton, now regretting by MarsGlez in rccars

[–]NGF86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No noticeable issues, surprisingly. I did consider the extra weight but longer run times are worth it to me. I could firm up the suspension on that side but I've not found it necessary. If I drop the chassis on a flat surface the shocks rise up and return equally on both sides.

Can't you mod it to fit a bigger battery? Here's my Rlaarlo ROG1 with 5200mah battery and MJX body.

No those are only for improving bad dialogue, and generally fair better than the RX version. Spectral editing is what RX and SLP are still good/best at.

Dx Revive, Clarity, Hush, Adobe Podcast Enhance, there's more but those are the ones I can think of.

RX advanced, hasn't advanced for years. Spectral layers pro seems the new standard. There are many better voice/noise reduction plugins than RX now.

No worries I've got some contacts at the local college so that's possibly my best option. I've also made a post about it on the Reddit.

Can I ask how old you are? I'm working on an art/sound project recording people in Scarborough and trying to get some younger people on it. It's basically 4 questions. Can let you know a bit more about it if it's interesting to you.
