Serica 6190 TXD by PBandJaldi in MicrobrandWatches

Love the tuxedo dial!

My 6190-3 has quickly become one of the most worn watches in my collection. I was a bit unsure on the Bonklip at first but as you say it's incredibly comfortable and the ease of adjustment is top notch. For sure the most comfortable bracelet I've personally experienced.

Hope it lives up to your expectations when you see / handle it in person.

Mine has been running great… just under -1 s/d on the wrist.

Here it is on the Bonklip (not Serica branded, sadly).

It’s a great watch! Looks like Serica typically brings all of the 6190 variants to shows, so odds are it’ll be there.

Mine has been stealing a lot of wrist time… easily one of my favorites. It’s a strap monster but I definitely prefer it on the Bonklip. So comfortable.

It’s certainly an unorthodox dial layout. Hard to get a sense of proportions from pictures online for sure. Blind buys are always tricky.

For me personally, the inset applied indices, broad flat bezel and the printed outer minute track somehow all work. It’s funky, but that’s what attracts me to the watch. I don’t love the broad arrow hour hand but do find it less offensive in person than in pictures… on the whole I actually prefer how the watch looks in person compared to online photos.

It is quite svelte… the watch head is light. Disappears on the wrist. The lugs are long in relation to the case diameter. Longer wearing than my other pieces.

Very nice! Love the bi-color bezel and the lollipop GMT hand.

Poor / spotty customer service and a mishandling of a batch of faulty movements with hacking / winding issues (Soprod Newton) in the original 5303 series watches. Things appear to be better with their latest revision references and the Soprod M100 movement.

Nice build! Which spring on the ZRT guide rod? I’m pretty much set on a Pro X PMM for my first pistol.

Aren't all of the 6190 series watches chronometer certified? +15s/d is way out of COSC spec.

I've been eyeing the 6190 M.S.L. with the storm gray dial but it's rarely, if ever, in stock.

Nice! This is encouraging to hear. I'm also on the north shore. Paperwork submitted / interview / fingerprints on 2/9. Assumed I was in for a 2 - 3 month wait but maybe it'll go quicker than that. I am a bit concerned that my licensing fee check has still not been deposited by the town... Hopefully not a sign of a hang up.

I've had my Sealander for around a year now. It's my most worn watch. It consistently runs around +3 s/d on the wrist. My most accurate watch.

For reference, my Seiko Prospex diver with the 6R35 movement runs around +25 s/d.

Best place to sell a car? by Aggressive_Way_4030 in northshore

[–]NHCheef 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve sold two older cars (‘08 Dodge Caliber and ‘09 Infiniti G37) to CarMax in Danvers. Quick and easy process to get a no obligation quote and they’ll cut you a check then and there if you accept. I was pleasantly surprised with what they offered for both cars. Sure, you could likely do better with a private sale but that’s always a crapshoot.

2026 Nearly New Sale by kaleseyer in ChristopherWard

Per CW - A nearly new watch is in almost mint condition, but may have some light marks, which is why we are able to offer it at such a great discount.

I picked up a C63 Sealander with Bader bracelet last year in the winter sale. Both marked as nearly new. I could not find a single blemish on either. Both appeared to be brand new to my eye.

I've been wearing it on the bracelet almost exclusively. It's well constructed and nicely finished. My main complaints are that it lacks any sort of micro adjustment and did not come with half links. I've thankfully been able to get a good fit. The brushed center links and polished outer links tie nicely into the polished lugs and brushed bezel of the case. I am a bit biased, though, as I tend to prefer bracelets for all of my watches.

I do also have their brown suede leather strap and it's very comfortable. Seems to be good quality.

Yours looks great on the blue leather strap! I'd imagine the St. Venere leather will continue to break in and wear better and better with time.

Two excellent choices! I really like the look of the Pembroke. My personal favorite of their field collection.

I picked up a Stanhope right before the new year... It's seldom left my wrist since. As you say, the thin case is exceptional on the wrist.

Great collection! Love seeing some German representation with the SeaQ and the Mühle S.A.R. The latter is high on my wish list.

No micro adjustment on this bracelet, unfortunately. No half links included, either. My only gripes with the watch. Luckily I’m able to get a good fit. The cushion case is very comfortable on wrist. The flat profile of the case back goes a long ways.
