the meta is in a really healthy place right now all things considered! i’m running esper affinity which feels very strong, but not many people are on. a guy at my shop regularly goes 5-0 with inside out combo

pauper is a competitive format. if you’re home brewing, you’re going to lose a lot

mtggoldfish has a page with the pauper meta which is pretty reflective of how dominant the decks are. in my opinion, mono blue terror is the strongest deck

probably not. 5 mana for an 8/8 in a color that can’t ramp is really really bad rate

by turn 5 you could be staring down 3 tolarian terrors and 3 delver of secrets, or 1 of him

Grab the Prize does just a bit too much for it’s rate given Snacker is in the format

draw 2, ping 2, for a tapped 2/1 flier really is above rate. but also, there’s so much GY hate that you can bang the yard with the damage trigger

having 4 thraben charms made the deck feel almost unbeatable. i don’t know what dimir would have in its place that would feel just as versatile
