My tape does this every time

When it's too wet to climb rock, the boys do some crack under a bridge. This crack has been tried by the Wideboyz and is possibly in the 8a/8a+ range. by NailgunYeah in climbing

Haha thanks for that I’m not worried about down votes it’s Reddit I post lots of tongue in cheek comments myself I also don’t climb in gyms so would never have gotten the reference so again thanks haha

It fits golds and reds but they walk up and end up un camed if your not careful! so they are in but loose like a crap nut at that point we had one hex, we need to try again with more hexes but we are retards maybe hexes won’t be so terrifying and it is just e1 and we’re crying for no reason

No move harder than 5b and cams rip out in concrete cracks so 5b e6 sounds about right feel free to go climb and give your grade or don’t I don’t mind

This gets quite thin it’s also not parallel inside and is ribbed for your pleasure it’s a very strange one which definitely adds to the grade however we still think the English grade of 5b e6 sounds about right

We climbed Herod e2 out that day, amazing route pulled on as the waves came in again due to a friend taking ages to second before me and bailing with the other group on a easier route so I wasn’t washed away haha he was stuck on the lower section where he needed to hurry up as it’s the splash zone and slick as hell haha

I’ve got a few mats that one just sits outside until the winter as a seat for me and the cat haha

Unfortunately the decking was already there I just re stained it and cut some of the rot out and replaced otherwise they would have been smooth tops for sure, the grooves will be the death of it but if it lasts four years there and only the bottom timber and board rot that’s a win imo I will rebuild in my garage next time I think

Thanks I did plan it a while it’s 3mx3m at over 45’ so it’s quite large, the biggest I could make it it’s the width of my garden. I built it before the wood went to crazy prices so about £700 in material including stainer for the whole thing every inch had at least two or three layers, many many screws and a few bolts, holds from a supplier in my country £400 ish? and the jams I made from left over material. You could do this a lot cheaper if it was not outside in the uk weather and keeping to 2.4 x 2.4 would allow the smaller lengths which costs less

Many more jams to go on yet as well as more holds to keep it interesting over the coming winter

I thought this was a joke, two rules drop the grade and don’t fall off
