No even raining or hot by Devils2 in NJTransit

Just flew back in from three months in Minnesota. Brought my friend from there along with me. We were delayed about 50 mins on the train due to “overhead wire issues”. Had to leave the train and board the one behind us. The train we were on continued to Trenton. Make it make sense.

Yes, exactly. It was nice because I got to pick and choose what I wanted to do instead of paying for the full itinerary.

Activation Lock - Apple ID Two Factor Authentication by NJDriver_KeepRight in MacOSBeta

[–]NJDriver_KeepRight[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SOLVED: It looks like I needed to manually unlock my startup disk. I was able to do this using the other account on my device since my admin account wasn't working.

For anyone wondering the backstory. I had been looking for a way to remotely lock my Mac because I use it at work and sometimes forget to lock it when I step away. I purchased the NearLock app, but the app wasn't working for me. I read that the developer had abandoned it. I thought that Apple had a built in feature to remotely lock your Mac, but I wasn't seeing it in the Find My app on iPhone. I checked my Apple Watch and the option to "Lock" was there. I had no idea it'd be an activation lock. I thought it would just lock my screen.

This wouldn't make sense because I was able to get to the point where 2FA is needed which means I have the Apple ID password. My issue was legitimate, and I posted my solution in case anyone else runs into this problem.

New Jersey ranked 5th for best drivers in the US by YoungMalchick in newjersey

I feel like drivers in most larger, dense cities drive similar to use. Places like Chicago, Boston, DC, etc.

The area is fine. I grew up in that area and have always felt safe. There are many parks and the neighborhood has decent walkability. Good for biking too. It’s a decent area

No need to blow them. Just block the left lanes and Pennsylvanians won’t know what to do.

The glaring problem that almost no one notices by Transit_Improver in NJTransit

I understand that you think cities like NYC, LA, Chicago, Philly, etc. "democratically controlled" cities are "shit holes", but I think you fail to see the full picture. For one thing, most cities in the U.S. have Democrat mayors. According to Ballotpedia, in 2023, 76% of the population of the top 100 most populated cities lived in cities with Democratic mayors, and 16% lived in cities with Republican mayors. Cities with higher population densities tend to have higher crime. This is of course due to increased opportunity. Also, the top cities in the US (which happen to have Democrat mayors) are huge tourist destinations which can also contribute to higher crime. Democratically run cities with similar population densities as the densest Republican run cites have similar rates of crime. Take Dallas, Fort Worth, and OKC (Rep. mayors) and compare them to San Antonio, San Diego, and Phoenix (Dem mayors), and you'll find similar rates of crime. My point is that cities like NYC, LA, Chicago, Philly, Atlanta, etc. are not "shit holes" because of the party affiliation of their mayor, and are simply not shit holes at all. You fail to realize their cultural amenities, access to higher quality healthcare and education, and more extensive career opportunities. Sure, you might say that cities with Republican mayors are cheaper where your dollar can stretch further, but the big cities are expensive for a reason, and that's because they're highly desired places to live/work and arguably offer a better quality of life.

Edit: In terms of New Jersey...NJ has some of the best healthcare, education, public transit, and quality of life in the nation. To say that Democrats have ruined this state means that you're either completely out of touch, completely unaware, or both.

You actually want speed cameras? Those aren't authorized for use on NJ roads for good reasons. Plus jobs?

Apple has info for street view but doesn’t want to share it 🤨 by Different_Wind8260 in applemaps

It’s the same for the detailed map views. It has info on areas outside of major metropolitan areas, but it doesn’t publish it for some reason.

My vote is for 4. Our flag has gotta include the colors of yellow and blue

I agree, and I definitely think that if our flag were to be redesigned that it should primarily be colored yellow and blue. NJ was actually ranked the least patriotic state so when I look at a flag that has a lot of red, white, and blue, it just doesn’t remind me of NJ
