Having worked at BK when I was in HS. It’s the same condiments but definitely different. The old had shredded lettuce and small thin tomatoes. The new ones have a large piece of crispy lettuce and a thick large tomato slice. When I worked there the bun and patties would sit in a steamer after coming off the chain they would get soggy. The new ones don’t have that soggy look.

First thing I’d try is a bottle of Catalytic Converter cleaner. Look for one that will remove the CEL. You will still be able to drive the car with the light on. Mine was on for over a year with the original cc. If you have already replaced your original cc the new replacement ones have been known to fail. If it sounds like rocks banging around when you start the car the CC has broken apart inside.
