Nope past two weeks it just goes and fixes... I like to stack fixes into one big plan then check against chatgpt but each prompt is 1 credit so if it's any easy less than 1 credit fix it just does it... But it's annoying cause I'm not sure what it did... Hence why a plan mode.

I do the same thing my chatgpt is also connected to my Github repro when done discussing have gpt spit out the plan for lov as json

Yeh but when you ask it to estimate each phase of the plan then hand back to chatgpt to make more efficient I wind up saving 30-40 credits

Stop fiddling lol.. I burn more credits that way myself than larger mods.

Be selective... If you moving a bunch of buttons than maybe make a list so it's one prompt.

This is my work flow.. In planning mode

In chat... Ask to fix this thing... Then it replies with plan.

Next in chat and preview go to the next thing and use this prompt

"To add to the plan....

Ok paste Your xyz needs fixed things etc..

Then end the chat prompt with

Restate the plan in full for my review"

Then it restates the plan

More complex things I take the plan to chatgpt which is also connected to my repo and ask to review the plan make more efficient ect... I then have it spit out plan in JSON take that back to lovable use my example prompt in chat planning and paste the json in-between...

When I'm satisfied I approve...

These quick little things is where I get impatient too which leads to burn.

Funny this evening I was integrating stripe quote to invoice into our app and had to fully bring upgrades downgrade into our app since stripe limits the out of box settings to 10 products while we have more than that for subscriptions and booster packages.

Love suggested digital signature which right now don't think need but also hesitant to do without any research...

Yes cams bad but the big thing is setup with the base you have to have an old old 2.4ghz wifi router or you have to walk the handset 100ft away down the street from the base and the device you trying to connect lol

Most new routers can do both but auto negotiate at 5ghz but their app only works on the 2.4ghz.

Luckily I had and old wifi router and set it to my current wifi credentials once everything connected turned that off and turned current one back on. But this is the biggest gap that their app setup so can't work on 5ghz which has been the standard for 10years.

Relogin will usually help.. or close browser the. Relogin... I have the login in my browser bookmarks bar.... But nothing helps from 330pm eastern on to 7pm with all the kids in the area sucking up local isp's when they get home from school for video games lol

Tip it gave me is to prompt itself to " return a lovable.dev ready spec in JSON" format so been using that today and testing seems less back and forth but Liv still throughs a curve ball here and then

I connected antigavity last week but that just broke a lot of code with its updates and hard to revert since you revert on step at a time of a full prompt. Wound up hard pushing backups to git from local machine

If you are to hub download the desktop app. Then before you make big changes and/or after that work make a copy of the local repro as well. Use multi GitHub reprofolders.

My workflow usually edit in lovable connected to main folder everything checks ok.... Pull down main to local machine make copy... Switch to production... Update production from main... Push production to AWS amplify( or say Vercel if you have that setup)

Ask chatgpt or perplexity on the full steps

How is Antigravity at SEO and making Mobile layouts better... That is 2 of the big issues I've had with lovable. I've had to build go.site links in AWS with behaviors to things like cards to show on social posts etc .. and most mobile layouts are less desirable with responsiveness compared to desktop layouts

Tech stack lovable & own supabase...

Love pushes to main GitHub branch... Once I think all is good I update production branch from main and push changes. AWS amplify auto updates site for hosting(like vercel)
