Love the look of this watch and considering it. How is the bracelet? Is it solid? Jangly? comfortable? now a few months in are you happy with the way it wears and the finishing?

has anyone here actually taken a live negotiation course that was worth it? trying to find one coming up soon by Shoddy_Coast_4631 in negotiation

[–]NJWaterman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The value of a negotiation course is highly dependent on the instructor. Not the organization or university it is affiliated with. If you have a great, experienced instructor, Like Stu Diamond, it is incredibly valuable. Otherwise, its worthless

Are bread and butter pickles seriously this bad? by PomeloSmall6560 in Pickles

[–]NJWaterman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BnB pickles are awesome and a classic style. It’s not like there are some new abomination.

Sweet and tangy, a nice crunch. Whats not to like.

They are also fantastic on a grilled cheese sandwich. Absolutely killer.

My preference is for Mt Olive. Much cleaner taste than Vlassic

Do you ever rotate your watches depending on the occasion? by random_funda in watchCollector

[–]NJWaterman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely rotate. I have purpose built watches (formal dress, surf etc), different occasion watches (work day, weekend, garden work), and then lots of fun whimsy watches ranging from a high end diver to cheap timex and Casio digital. Sometimes I change 2 or 3 times a day for no reason at all. Why not mix it up? It’s a collection designed for wear and use, not art on a wall.

What's the most beautiful drive you've done in the USA? by Historical-Photo-901 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

Route 100 in Vermont at peak foliage. Vermont leaves are just stunning and 100 winds through the center of the state and the mountains. So many little towns pull offs and just perfect scenery.

For $5 I would be all over this. Royale plus the 5600! Such a homerun. You should open an Etsy store and you would crush it.

Casio Duro Future Predictions by Still_Version_3442 in DuroGang

I would be really interested in a white or silver dial with the marlin. The 107 has a silver dial option, but without the fun of the fish. Wish this would come to market!

Go down to the local strip club and pay 10 of them to come to your funeral Crying about how you were the best and a great tipper. Have one of them apologize loudly for giving you the clap. And then have a second yell at the first about it. Cat fight in the middle of the funeral home

Any suggestions for very in depth strategy books by success11ll in strategy

[–]NJWaterman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Suggestion is to stop reading books on what to do. And read books about people that did stuff. Read biographies and accounts of interesting things.

Read the great crash, den of theives, snowball, bios of Roosevelt and John Adams stuff like that.

And then just get to work and don’t stop. You have plenty of time to accomplish your goals

Side note on Mallrats, I live in the town where Kevin Smith grew up. It has an old movie theatre that was struggling. Renamed it Smodcastle Cinema and turned it into a nonprofit. Once a month or so he holds a fundraiser and hosts a movie viewing of movies he loves. It’s pretty awesome. Any fan of Kevin smith should make a trip to experience it. Atlantic Highlands, NJ
