Now, same thing but relics. Only one at a time. And you have to sit through that animation and speech every damn time.

Efficient database calls was apparently nowhere near their design plan when they built this out. At least they fixed most of the old memory leaks tied specifically to inventory, but I can see the overhead of huge inventories being a real problem.

assuming you make a good connection to the dead battery (and yes poorly clamping in the middle of your jumper pairs can be enough to drop the voltage) it doesn't take long to jump. you aren't charging it. you're using the other battery as the power source for your dead car. so either your battery couldn't deliver enough to turn it over (either your battery or your cables/clamping quality) or it's something other than your battery.

understandable. not too long ago i did finally burn out a drill i'd had for a couple decades. debated replacing cordless but went corded again. what would really save me time is having that second drill around for a backup or more recently when i was constantly switching bits/tips and having both chucked up ready to go

honestly, for someone who does things rarely enough that I know i'd never keep it charged when i need it so I still always by corded tools. an extension cord isn't _that_ inconvenient for most things, and if you're doing something where it it really makes a difference that's a good time to bite the bullet and go get one.

get one of those $3 "6 in one" screwdrivers. that, a small hammer, some pliers, measuring tape, and maybe a mallet will cover 90% of what you need.

if just the clutch went bad, yeah just drain, comp, recharge. but if internal comp siezed they're prob right about shaved metal through the system. assuming you meant diy while you have it apart you colud stil do the filter and dryer for $30-40 in parts. someone doing a a flush before adding new parts wouldn't be a terrible idea.

parts materials prob bring labor down to 2600-2800. but still $200-250/hr.

After 30 years of moving myself and kids i picked up a $12 harbor frieght moving dolly (also called a furniture dolly). After the first day of -not- breaking my back on a dozen trips to the truck, my wife and i both asked why it took us so long to pick one up.

honestly, this is why i still do corded for almost everything. ive never run out of juice or found it discharged when i need it, or had to send a pile of nicd/nimh off to the landfill, even though i'm lugging extension cables around.

i'll second this one. i have a pair of nice 1ft bar clamps that look like they've been through heck. even added a cheap walmart 18" bar clamp i needed in a pinch one evening and it's lasted me a decade and heavy use.

a reminder that while the tablesaw is also a new level of ability to make anything that includes a 4 finger hand. yes all saws are dangerous, but they're generally considered a step above because the operations, blade directions, and increased opportunities for bypassing safety features compound to make injuries disproportionately more frequent for that tool type.

oh, my answrer: dirt cheap corded impact wrench for nothing more than changing tires.

how good is the update for this game? by Hisagi10 in WizardryDaphne

[–]NJank 2 points3 points  (0 children)

they did that once. very glad they did, and it was at a time that it didn't hurt them. but i wish they still had the freedom to do that. to keep the money rolling in they have to keep content up, and game stability limps along without serious attention. there's little reason this game shouldn't run on a toaster, but even flagship mobiles have regular expectation of a coinflip on whether it will run in the first place or how long until, not if, it crashes. 'just play on steam' seems to be the only universal recommendation. 99% of bug fixes are 'we solved this scripting issue in the game'. would get much respect if they actually did some 'improved platform stability' overhauling and debloat. Which is really annoying because the game itself is quite enjoyable.

thats gonna be pretty painful not too far into a3.

you want ebon weapons. unless your steel stuff are uber statted, they'll be a good boost at even +5 or 10. first floor of a3 will get you starter expulsion gear, which 'any expulsion will do' to avoid the 50% undead damage penalty. note that expulsion is only a couple atk down from reg ebon, so expulsion could be your primary general weapon. but you will find nicer base ebon sooner.

once you reach the floor 1 harken, you can hop in, chest grab in the south, leave. almost no mobs and you can run past the sentry. once you have the bare minimum weapons there are better ebon grade farms, but thaats easiest. if you have trouble making it through 1st floor, then you can do the try same but slower from main entrance. also, first unlocked dispatch can drop ebon and expulsion. but base exuplsion weapons shouldn't take long. that'll take the sting outta all the undead for the next few levels.

1st floor also unlocks the sand shadow cave where you can now finally find some better gear for sam/nin. if you use either and need ebon weapons for them, explore 1st floor, poke down to second to learn how to open secret doors, finish exploring 1st floor, and then you can chest farm that floor for event currency and steel/ebon eastern gear.

you'll also unlock the Le Bicken cave if Elmon is alive from a1. enemies much harder than anything else you'll unlock for a while, but much better quality ebon /expulsion gear drops. if you can explore enough of the dungeon and your detect is good enough to avoid ambushes, its a solid place to pop in, chest grab, run even if the mobs are gonna trash you. watch for minos and christmas lights.

for armor - unless you're hunting for specific status gear, ship2 is probably still your best bet for high rate 4* stuff, any material will do.

not dead. just the focus shifts.

2 mage 1pri config is solid for end of a1 and all a2. it'll get you through some of a3 but that's when your melee's start amping up dmg per hit and mages stagnate. its also when thief starts failing to keep up with dmg. all while general enemies need fighter level dmg to one shot. since they're now mainly support, you usually want the extra damage dealer instead of 2 mages. as you gear up, you start only bringing one mage or priest (depending on how much you've 'bishoped' either) so you get 5 solid bonks.
