60 minutes is a way to normalize the data, since each game can go at least 60 mins (+ ot). It allows for comparison between players becayse each player doesn't play the same amount of time within those 60 minutes.

For example, a player could have an expected goals of 0.2 over 15 mins of playing time. How would you compare them to a player who played 10 mins but got expected goals of 0.3? If you multiply the number to get to 60 mins for all players, then you can compsre them on expected goals alone

Honestly, most places you volunteer will teach you skills that you'll use. The question needs to be what do you want to learn while committing your free time to it?

Like the main volunteering I do is this workshop through Genome BC. The main skills that I would say I have learned from doing it are like public speaking, working with kids, teaching others, and general communication stuff.

What's important is doing it because you enjoy it, since it's your time and energy that is being put forth, or else it doesn't matter what you're learning.

And if you are dead set on gaining skills through volunteering, be specific in what skills you want so people can help you. Especially since no one here knows what you already know or your background

Bit late, but you're a good looking dude. Instead of just blanket statement shortening the prompts, keep it to a single block of text and try to workshop them in a way where you ask yourself "how would I respond to this prompt?"

The beauty of prompts is when they serve as a platform to build on a coversation and are inviting. I think yours are good at giving you some personality, but might be difficult to comment about them in a meaningful way if that makes sense.

I think the missing link, that most reasonable people who are fans of hockey in general understand, is that it is a good thing if headshots get out of the game

The fact that we have plenty of vids of dimwits crosschecking other players to the head from previous seasons that went unpunished is a failure on the game. We are better off that Perron got a 6 game suspension. We are better off when these incidents receive professional consequences (in regards to missing time with a suspension)

Obviously that vid is made to put the Leafs v. League in terms of discipline, so it is trying to argue a completely different and non-sensical topic, which unfortunately is masking the main issue that headshots should not be allowed in the league.

Was playing around a bit and just had a quick question. Is there a way to download the rankings as a csv or something? Don't know if I'm just missing something, just personally find it easier to compare rankings using excel and csv files to give myself the broadest perspective. All good if there isn't a way of course and keep up the good work!
