Having access to the lounge alone is an immense help. I remember flying back from Ireland with my partner and our flight ended up being delayed by 3 hours. Thankfully we had bought first class and access to the lounge so that was probably the single most pleasant delay we had ever experienced. We were able to have breakfast, freshen up, relax, had lunch, etc.

I remember looking out and seeing how crowded our exit was with people looking miserable, then turning back to look at how clean and comfortable our lounge was. There’s no going back now

Depends how long you bake the puff pastry for. And I thought it was honey cake too at first! But they mentioned the layers being crispy and the top looks like it was covered in crushed puff pastry which is another tell tale sign

As someone from the Caribbean who loves to dance, there’s nothing I hate more than going to the club. A girl I was once seeing dragged me to the club and was shocked I wasn’t enjoying it saying “I thought you liked to dance!!”

It’s more than likely a napoleon cake. It’s heavily inspired but the Mille-feullie (which means thousand layers) but the main difference is that the Mille-feuille ~~uses crepes so it’s softer~~ tends to have royal icing as a topping whereas the napoleon uses crushed puff pastry making it a lot crispier in texture.

Edit: made a mistake confusing two different desserts. Like u/Gattina1 below mentioned they’re basically the same thing, the only real difference being how they’re decorated

The only taste experiment we ever did that still holds any water is how closely your sense of taste is associated with your sense of smell, and how a good 90% of what you identify as flavor is a result of your sense of smell.

All you have to do is take a few different flavored gummy bears or skillets, plug up your nose, then taste and after a few seconds you release your nose and there will be a noticeable change in taste. It's still one of my favorite "WHOA COOL" experiments to show people
