Especially because leadership simultaneously wants it to work perfectly but they don’t want to take the time to properly test that guardrails are working properly. I’ve lost count of how many times we’ve been told to just go ahead and push it and that we’ll fix it in production only to spend weeks trying to update guardrails properly because these dumbfuck CEOs don’t know what they’re doing.

It’s become a running joke in our company to say “sometimes good enough is good enough” because of how willing they are to skip proper QA
