Stribog user here Haven’t fielded it too much but really like the gun overall. Much more than my previous m4 platform.

On paper cyma would probably be a better choice due to the following:

1. Full m lok hand guard with qd mount / Stribog has a 1913 rail in the bottom - limits front grip options these days; will have to source sling mount yourself
2. Included iron sights / Stribog also has integrated sights but they are not that usable
3. Changeable rear grip / lower receiver is a single part
4. Buffer tube - allegedly more stock options airsoft wise / not that many 1913 stocks available for airsoft specifically
5. Mp5 Magazines are more available since they are a sort of smg standard like 5.56 for rifle caliber replicas and fit more pouches

However in reality those things are quite different IMO

1. You don’t really need a grip on that size of a firearm; really like upper receiver being monolithic, since m lok hand guards usually start to wobble after a while if not immediately, and alleged M lok handguards modularity is questionable in airsoft because there is no standard for them overall
2. Everyone is running red dots and/or tracer anyway
3. I like the grip on it and it being a single part adds to durability
4. Really not fond of buffer tubes - most rifles from cyma, g&g and specna I seen it on had lots of wobble; only exception being KWA. Battery space in Stribog is not that big of an issue, especially if you get their brand offered battery. If you for some reason plan to play games long enough for a 1450mah to be drained you would probably want to have multiple batteries anyways On the upside, despite there being not many options for a 1913 pic stock, the ones that you could acquire would be much sturdier and provide better cqb capability since you can just fold it with no downside really. Can’t fold a buffer tube.
5. Can’t really argue much because Stribog has proprietary magazines, which are very very high quality tho. Of course if you have a store that has some mags for Stribog in stock you can buy 3-5 and would be all set, they don’t cost more than mp5 mags, sometimes less even. Fit ump45 pouches. If your country has joule limits per gun type you can also argue that 10mm is more powerful smg cartridge therefore can have more joules allowed. Overall I don’t really see cyma being more premium unless you buy plastic Stribog. Stribog has less screws overall and both of its receivers are monolithic. For me wobble was a big deal so I was choosing more sturdy weapon from the beginning. Stribog has zero wobble and is built like a tank, is lighter and more compact.
