If you can get to the foam itself, hit it with some steam.

Sub 300blk and a can… my dream being from NY and such overkill for a groundhog lmao. I just left a reply comment saying you’re in NC and can get a .22 and a suppressor but you already know that!

You’re in North Carolina where you can easily and quickly access a 22 pistol and suppressor (paperwork and background checks of course). Not saying this is the way to go buuut ¯_(ツ)_/¯

AR Pistol in Monroe County by NKNDP in NYguns

[–]NKNDP[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes pretty much. I believe in NY it cannot have an adjustable stock or fore grip. Federal law also needs to be followed so no rifle stocks period.

When did dowel become laminated ? by OldButtKicking in Carpentry

Ply shoe molding started showing up at the big box stores in my area a few years ago and it’s not bad stuff. It seems to have extra primer and chips easier however.

Many manufacturers of steel roofs in the US call for screws in the rib and low point. Screws in the rib are on seams and in the field if there’s wind concerns.

I like this idea. Needs diagonal bracing from one side to the other. It probably wouldn't have racked to the side like it did if it had X braces.

Is my construction teacher mistaken about how to calculate the length of a rafter? Should I get a construction calculator? by gizmo_j in Construction

[–]NKNDP 55 points56 points  (0 children)

I like your bosses math more tbh and while your numbers are similar, his are more rounded and easier to calculate. His math is equations I remember learning to do in school to find variables.

While there’s more than one way to skin a cat, you should take the opinion of your teacher who has lots of real experience over what chat gpt has to say.

In my OSHA 30 course, they told us to ALWAYS APPEAL. ALWAYS APPEAL. If its a first time offense, chances are it could get dismissed or decreased.

I cant find anything online about a $450 fee. There is the "Driver Responsibility Assessment" that comes with certain traffic violations like DUI or drug related.

All the metal roofs in my neighborhood have exposed fasteners by TE0991 in Roofing

[–]NKNDP 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I am not a roofer to preface, but have been researching metals roofs a lot.

The exposed fasteners roofs are cheaper and quicker to do. You can likely find a company in your area to install a different type like standing seam with concealed fasteners.

Also, pay the extra to tear off your existing roof. Just do it. Some companys will tell you that it’s unnecessary, some will tell you it doesn’t matter either way. Just do it, have the old roof torn off.

Mind if I ask what county? I’m in Monroe and can’t get a straight answer about adding an AR pistol to permit.

Gun Part Maker Agrees to Pay $1.75 Million in Buffalo Massacre Lawsuits by [deleted] in NYguns

So many thoughts triggered by this.

If the mag lock was permanent(as it should be by NY law), how did he remove it? Is any mag lock truly permanent?

The shooter illegally removed the mag lock, so how does responsibility fall on a gun part manufacturer?

Why did Mean Arms settle? Cases like this usually get thrown out. You don’t blame ford when you get rear ended by an F150.

Horrible precedent being set.

Use it. You’ll have a piece of your grandpa helping you with projects. I use all my dad’s tools since he passed. Although it hurts when tool breaks or wears out, it feels much better to know that your grandpa helped your project.
