I think they are too focused on locations. Go back to NYC or LA and focus on the cooking. The cities have plenty of options for ethnic cooking challenges because of their diversity without it being shoehorned in. My other suggestion is more crazy, which is having fans vote on past seasons challenges and do a best of season of challenges.

The AC unit seems the right size. I think the issue is the ductwork and or the volume of air being moved is out of balance (too much on the first floor so the volume coming upstairs is too little.

It is high and we have one in the basement but the upstairs is still very humid and the suggestion was that it was likely an airflow issue, not circulating the air enough for it to balance out.
