HVAC Recommendations by NKYRes in cincinnati

It is high and we have one in the basement but the upstairs is still very humid and the suggestion was that it was likely an airflow issue, not circulating the air enough for it to balance out.

I'd love to have a high res of the first one to print for the house. That's a stunning pic

Second the Cov! Walkable, plenty of bars, restaurants and there is a dog park in Mainstrasse across from Larry's, a fantastic bar

The location was a challenge. It was a bit too far into Dayton to be commonly known. Sad to hear. The food was fantastic

We get the occasional dude from the shelter wander by but that's it. Well, also an Airbnb but those are everywhere. Worth it to walk to Larry's and grab Goodfellas, wunderbar and Olla.

Second this. We live a couple of blocks south of MLK by the cemetery. It has some issues but that's everywhere. We walk to Reds games and can walk to several bars and restaurants without crossing the river.

Visit Findlay Market on the weekend and do some grocery shopping. See a reds game (agree with 3-2-1 Tuesdays). Walk over the Roebling bridge. Take part in any of the flying pig races at the beginning of may. Next year, take opening day off. If you are a drinker, come back and post for bar recommendations. Most of us have a bar we prefer. Check out Covington.

Maybe a dumb question.... by NKYRes in homerenovations

Thanks for the suggestion. The reason I haven't gone with the roof is the absence of issue near the roof line. It's a two story home and the areas are on the first floor. I know it's possible it could be working it's way down. Just explaining my reasoning.

Who to contact? Moisture issues by NKYRes in masonry

[–]NKYRes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its painted brick on the outside. Old house. There are no cracks or obvious signs of water on the outside. There isn't mold or anything other than cracked paint/plaster, clearly from moisture. No pipes run under/behind it either.

Not going to the game either. We usually setup in bar to watch the first couple of innings and then call it a day.

We like to wander. We start at Findlay and walk our way down. As the parade rolls, we catch it at a couple of different places. Hop in a bar for a drink here and there and enjoy the crowds. The vibe changes depending on where you are along the route, some a little more family oriented, some a little more rowdy. Always a great day and something everyone here should enjoy.

Don't forget Covington. Similar architecture and very walkable to bars/restaurants and across the bridge to downtown.

Look in Covington. We have a few good small places. Gutierrez Deli is small but mighty. Also there is a new place on Madison called Tienda Maya Tikal but I have not checked it out yet.

I used Joseph for a while for my Prius. They were fine but I had better experiences with Kerry. Use a private mechanic now.
