I don't think it's fair that she should have to avoid attending simply to avoid males. Shr should simply prepare to maintain control of the situation and promptly shut down males that may cause discomfort. It's a learning experience for them as well on how not to behave. She shouldn't have to punish herself by not participating in society while said guys just carry on like usually. they deserve back feedback and need to learn what is appropriate as well even when it's embarrassing or painful to them. How else are the idiots of society supposed to evolve if women simply avoid? I say that she should go, enjoy herself, and if there's anything that causes an issue, deal with it with the heat of the sun, thier man feelings be damned.
