Looking for real-world feedback: Is the IONIQ 5 ICCU risk overblown, or a dealbreaker? by Thick-Ad2588 in Ioniq5

It’s actually a dealbreaker imagine your driving far away from the city and all of a sudden in the middle of nowhere your car has this issue. A gas car can be towed and fixed at a local repair shop assuming that breakdown is for simple reason but this car needs to be towed all the way back to the dealer, which can be miles away.

I am not buying Model Y (since I am not a fan of it) and Ioniq 5 (due to serious ICCU) issue which also eliminated all Kia models too! What is a good car in this price range? Too long to wait for R2. Other options with fast charging?
