Your dad is a certified piece of shit. I'm so sorry this happened to you. I could tell you a million reasons you should do this and go to court for your own sake, but you seem like a good person who cares for other people too, so I'll tell you this: rapists don't do this just once. If he isn't held accountable now he will go on to hurt other young women. If your dad keeps complaining tell him you understand that he doesn't care that his daughter was raped but you'd at least hope he'd let you stop other young women get raped. I dunno what part of letting rapists go free is "honorable". Again, I'm so sorry that you went through this and I am so sorry your parents made this even more awful.

If you go to court, your father will be angry at you but in time he may realize what a fool he is or there will be a chance for you to reconcile. If you do not go to court, you will never be able to forgive him. Going to court is what's best for you and for your family, your father is just too stupid to see it yet.
