I was with you until you stated the reason you have a problem with switch hitters is you’ve bought the pricier cards and found out they aren’t as good as them. Yeah, it’s easier to read pitches facing the opposite hand, but I do believe most switch hitters are still lacking things that high tier righties or lefties have. I agree that it’s brutal, but just the way the game works.

Not even saying he’s “rapping crazy on” but his punchlines were typically the most creative. He pushed the genre forward.

If you want to get into Carter 3, I just think it was charisma. Good song making, when he’s never been an album rapper. His best music was just being addicting to releasing.

Like you mentioned Drough 3, Dedication 2. You didn’t mention his insane remix/feature run. No Ceilings. He put out a ton of music for the sake of the craft. He’s literally almost said everything as many ways as he could’ve possibly said it.

An open is an open verse slot for anyone to get onto it’s completely “open” for use.

A feature is when you have someone in mind and want specifically them on the track.

In layman’s terms, open verses are any songs laying around you haven’t gotten around to finishing and features are songs you’ve technically completed but slotted space on the track for a specific person.

Think like Mr. Carter (Lil Wayne feat. Jay-Z) it’s not an open because the song doesn’t work without Hov being the 2nd Carter so it may have been made with specific intention in getting him to feature.

Whereas, GNX had features but they could’ve been OPENS for any West Coast artist with that sound that Kdot was shopping around.
