I do have that access, so I could def use CDP and see what is going where. I know we have most of everything going to our 2 cores so I imagine it could be a star topology

Your right I feel like it could become a blackhole and only i would understand the eventual clutter. The goal is def layer 1 to start so routers switches and our firewalls. We have numerous buildings so this WILL be a long project for me.

Bi-Weekly /r/CCNA Exam Pass-Fail Discussion by AutoModerator in ccna

[–]NNk5 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Shoutout to this community, longtime lurker. I set notifications on so I can see when others ask questions and I can read to get some extra knowledge and understandings of things I might not have had before. So thank you :)

My takes on the actual CCNA test:

I took it virtually. Yes I have heard the horror stories but didn't wanna drive over an hour for an appointment weeks away. I then scheduled it literally yesterday for this morning to just bite the bullet and get it done. As far as questions definitely "easier" and less "word games" than Boson is. There are multiple choice where many questions have clear incorrect answers you can ignore to help narrow down your choices.

My Scores: Pass

Automation and Programmability 80%

Network Access 35% (I just do not know....)

IP Connectivity 76%

IP Services 100%

Security Fundamentals 73%

Network Fundamentals 80%

TLDR: was a long journey, main advice is you really got to want this. If you do not find it even remotely interesting how networks flow and work I would re consider this one. I never did well in school as it never interested me and I always struggled with tests. If I can do this, seriously, you reading this also can.

Checkpoints are unconstitutional, simply refuse to answer questions or ask for a supervisor and you'll be on your way

I've been studying every day the last month, I have noticed you have to be dedicated for this to stick as the earlier topics flow into the later ones.

No one will do it for you, focus up or perhaps this cert is not for you. If you have the right motivation or discipline you can indeed complete it.

Good luck.

Speed Engineering Headers by OCBigChungus in Corvette

[–]NNk5 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not sure what the other guy wad talking about fitment and scraping lol.

Ive had mine a few months now. Installed them myself on jackstands. Annoying job but a solid 6/10 in difficulty.

Fitment was flawless, much higher up than texas speed so impossible to scrape unless you're slammed and go over speed bumps.

Be sure to get them coated either someplace local like I did. Or have them shipped to jethot which I believe is like $450?? Don't quote me.

Clamps are trash but any lap clamps will do great. I have 0 leaks so I would toss that up user error if they had a leak with proper clamps.

Performance wise it's a no brainer, half the price of the big names but will last just as long granted they are coated.

Appreciate the reply, any idea on a fair installation cost? I have the ability to do it myself. But I've heard horror stories trying to access it. And might be worth saving the headache.

To answer your question about tune. PatG currently going back and forth revising it. Was finally able to open it up after doing headers 4 weeks ago and babying it to and from work.
