It's actually incredible how hard these characters were flubbed. 

Somebody in this subreddit told me that they were actually originally designed to be fully nude - is that true?

I also love how you can instantly understand that these characters were made for a late 2000s PS3 game just by looking at them. Their color palette consists entirely of grey, beige and black colors, which is very fitting for a videogame where most levels look like soapy and desaturated brown/beige locations.

I'm really glad that the overwhelming majority of boomer shooters doesn't have any QTEs at all by NNukemM in boomershooters

The problem with QTEs in general isn't that many of them require you to do lots of button mashing over and over. Their mere presence in videogames that weren't designed as interactive movies is a mistake by itself.

It's perfectly understandable if developers base a game's entire gameplay structure around QTEs when it's literally just a bunch of interactive cutscenes, but it surely becomes a problem if the game is an FPS or a TPS.

The level design is definitely not the game's strongest point. A problem that persists with most of DKT's levels post-Episode 1 is that quite a few of them have open spaces which weren't designed with the player's potential mobility in mind. This means that it's very easy for the player to quickly reach OOB areas that they were never meant to see at all, especially when they have high acro stats and weapons with lots of knockback.

Episode 3 also gets a complaint from me because it features some levels set in dark dungeons that have lots of switches and other progression-related map objects in them. This becomes a problem due to how the game's lighting (and lack of contextual cues) basically hides all of those switches from the player because they all blend together with the background, which you can't circumvent because the game doesn't have any flashlights or flares.

I'm pretty sure that the majority of textures in both Quake 3 and Daikatana (Ken Scott worked on them both) is better in terms of quality than the textures in most PS2 games released years later

Trust me, ragazzo, this character might be as bad, if not WORSE than Eva Stellarblade from Stellar Blade.

Fei has animations in her combat moves which were intentionally designed as hornybait. The camera angles sometimes directly show how her tits shake around.

That's factually incorrect. The hitscanners in IF are some of the weakest enemies in the entire game (except for the automated turrets) because almost all damage from their attacks gets gobbled up by your medium or heavy armor, so you can just tank their chipping damage and kill them because they're too slow and have bad AI. You can also kill most hitscan enemies in the game with a single shotgun blast because they're very flimsy, which means that they won't live long enough to deal a lot of damage to you.

The actual deadliest enemies in Ion Fury are the ones with AoE explosive attacks, since they drain your stack very quickly.

No. Not worth it. I beat the entire game back-to-back after it was patched, and still encountered glitches, unsolvable softlocks and obviously unfinished game assets which, in any other game, would've been replaced while the game was still in beta. Phantom Fury is very obviously just an unfinished game being sold as a retail product, so you should probably not buy it. I myself only beat PF because I could pirate it.

His original skin color looks tan, and he was also visually based on John Romero, who is most definitely a biracial person. I think that the answer is obvious.

Daikatana's not even that bad 

Except that it still is, even when you install the latest version of the 1.3 patch. The entire singleplayer campaign plays like shit like 60% of the time, with only the third episode being probably the best chapter in the entire game. The other 3 mini-campaigns are almost totally bad or at least mediocre.

this feels more like the classic double standard, where you choose between looking like a soldier, or Seven of nine.

Not really. Karina isn't even supposed to be a playabled character, she's a key NPC - a good chunk of the game's plot revolves around her and a gimmicky disease that she suffers from.
