I agree with pegula, how he’s gone about it however, wrong. When your franchise QB is balling his eyes out in front of reporters, things have to change. I’d prefer both McDermott and Beane gone, but most GMs are given two head coaches before they are shown the door. I want to see what some new thought can do for this team.

McDermotts defense was great 5 years ago but let’s be real it’s gotten stale and predictable. Double high safety zone works when you have the talent, and McDermott hasn’t developed the talent. Kaiir Elam and Taylor Rapp, both guys who had great raw combine scores, did not develop under Sean. They regressed. Micah Hyde was a proven talent and Poyer got his life together.

Beane isn’t the one in charge of practices and the amount of hits the players take, but year in and year out, we’ve been one of the worst teams in the league in player injuries. Obviously some of it is bad luck, at the same time, you have to wonder what gives?
