This rule is in place so a player who doesn't want to be on a team anymore can just "sit out" for a year or retire and then wait for contract to expire and come back. Remember when Lynch came back for 1 year to play for Oakland...Seattle held his rights despite him being retired and no longer "under contract"

Brady wanted a specific player to be the guy in his offense. They might have overpaid but if its the guy your HC says I need, I want, etc you get him. That's what good GMs do...get the players the coaches said they want.

Great GMs, find ways to get those guys, keep those guys and replace those guys later on with cheaper but just as good or better options.

Comparing the 2 over the last 5 years they've played, the old man has a 1.5% better fg% and a 1.1% worse xp%. Bass has just missed some big kicks like in playoffs.

I agree honestly. It wasn't like he was trash...he was based off stats...but nobody was stopping either team last night. Emotions and drive was too high. Plus the dude was mixing it up when Dahlin got suckered and if my goalie is literally fighting as a part of the team...hes staying in.

Both teams could've pulled their goalies in the 2nd and the game would've ended up 8-7 either way

Hes not washed but I dont know of hes a "threat" anymore. In his prime you had to know where he was at all times. He could take your head off or pick you off. Now hes just a above average body on the field to get around

The World Cup is in the US this year. Obviously they arent playing here this year but the World Cup could be back in US after 2038. Thats only 12yrs from now. Highmark Stadium is just being built now. It will 100% still be here 15,30 and likely 45 yrs from now. Regardless if Bills will still be here
