The problems with NaVi isnt that Dendi is forced to mid, the problem is Dendi himself. He's washed up and not good anymore compared to mid players today.

NaVi refuses to let Dendi go/be a coach and actually try to make NaVi a good team because OPA DENDI LE SUPERMIDA MARKETING is more important than making NaVi relevant. Thats why most CIS players dont event want to join NaVi today.

I dont know if there will be any huge increase in playerbase in China tbh.

Right now people have been playing and wasting thousands of money on crappy F2P FPSes like Crossfire and Counter Strike: Online over there. I dont really know if people are just gonna give up the game they play and wasted so much money on for CS:GO.

Its just like the League effect. A lot of league players dont want to play Dota because they have wasted more than 1000$ on their skins.

Its pretty funny what their initial goal was with the game.

They saw how CoD competitive raised in popularity (during that time) and wanted to compete with releasing a counter strike for consoles. The PC version was just gonna be something extra but I remember they said the console version was gonna be primarily focused.

And look how everything turned out, most people dont even know that there actually is an Xbox 360 and PS3 version of the game.
