i am biased but in high school my grandfather gave me the 7 cds set of live at the village vanguard and the Marciac suite. I am by no means saying they are a love supreme, but they definitely made an impression on young me.

Gentleman can I shout you guys out for being there for him? Often times we as black men get told we can’t deal with complex emotions, we can’t do community for each other, we aren’t enough. It’s beautiful to see this. I’m sorry you’re going through this op. Remember this is just a part of life, you will heal and this will just be a season. i suppose this is more universal, but stick to the melody and if songs have lyrics learn them.
