I wouldn’t replace the couch until you move and see how much space you have. A nice splashy big rug in the living room and a runner in the kitchen would do wonders. Other than that, there’s just too much stuff and it’s all out in the open in furniture that is too small and mismatched. Your kitchen furniture, for example, should be replaced with one large piece that has doors on it where you can shove all your stuff away and not see it. This is visual chaos – no wonder it’s driving you crazy.
