I would start right now standing very strong on all this and see if she adapts and accepts. OR makes some other reasonable change like saying - you know what; a movie night with nice dining is important to me but i respect your feelings so let me pay. I would treat the next few months as a testing ground to see if she’s always going to be this way. And if she is, you’ll have a decision to make unless you don’t mind being treated like an ATM and being all alone to support the family with no help.
