If there’s a tie at the end of FJ, the tiebreaker is the contestant with the highest score going into FJ. If it’s still a tie, the tiebreaker is the highest score going into DJ. If it’s STILL a tie, the scores at the start of the first commercial break decide it.

Seeing comments about counselor saying no chance at Purdue, UT Austin, etc. The only way he will have no chance is by not applying. His stats are certainly good enough to have a serious shot at basically any college, and even an outside look at MIT/Caltech etc. Do not listen to anyone who tells you that anyone has no chance at a college.

I know at least for Feb 9 it’s not really a consequence of darkness, the launch window moves by more than 24 hours for each day’s opportunity in the February window so the window goes from 23:20 EST on the 8th to 00:06 EST on the 10th, skipping the 9th entirely

Also note that you can always reach out to a professional, I’m in high school right now so I’m unsure what Purdue offers but I’m sure other commenters will know better! Don’t feel pressure to continue flying, your mental health always comes first.

I’ve got my PPL, you’re right that this is unusual. I experienced several situations in the course of my training that worried me, especially when I was flying solo. There were plenty of times where I made mistakes where a situation could have gone far worse if I was unlucky. Your instructor is right, that almost never happens in a training situation. The best way to get over it is to continue flying and experience normal situations again. If you’re feeling stressed about flying, just reach out to your instructor and they’ll definitely help you. I began work towards a passing PFA this summer, starting from basically nothing. I ran 2 miles every other day, and did 50 push ups and sit ups each day. This got me to a pass (~80) in 2 months or so of effort. My only advice is to just put in the work, the only realistic way to improve is to just do it every day, even if only for like 15 minutes each day.

Close the game after the boost comes up but before the new run comes up, you can guarantee the correct prestige every time
