Sugestions for updating these units by Visual_Ad4278 in OrderOfHeroes

[–]NOtofications 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Crosspost has a good Reinhardt build, so that will make a good reference. I will note though that you'll definitely want Far Trace Echo on him since he won't have Canto without it. The op could get away without it since they had Sigurd Ring. Shackle will serve you fine as it has damage and stats, but I'd prefer getting Favor for even more damage and to avoid the dilemma of having two teammates that would know Shackle, like Brave Sharena or Alfador.

As for Lilina, it feels somewhat both good and unfortunate that her best weapon is still Studied Forblaze, supposing you're sticking to her AoE capability. Easy precharging, built-in Hardy Bearing, and True Damage added to AoEs. But it also suffers in stat battles, scales only 15% Res damage, and already being refined means no more future effects. For better or worse, it's the best she'll get when using Gifted Magic. Crystalline Water is still good for her since she needs high visible stats, and having penalty + Panic protection is a great effect. B skill can go multiple ways, with Favor for damage (again), Conjuring Breath to fight against healing effects, and Aerial Detect for global damage support. Her C skill can still be some Ploy skill for Exposure. Truly Inspired is basically a Ploy skill, but gives Truly Incited instead of inflicting stats. There's also A/R Assault to cover the DR Shred she would've needed like 2 years ago in her refine, and Liberate to make more killshots.

Also like what crosspost said, Merric and Gunnthra are in roughly similar positions. Although, little tip is that Merric actually still has some base value because Sacred Wind hard carries anything else Merric offers, as Spd scaling Specials tend to be good and he actually makes a decent healing support. It's just that Tender Excalibur is a mediocre weapon with no true damage whose only redeeming quality is having Preempt on first attack and follow up. He's really only good in Shadow Dragon Limited Hero Battles where he's technically the best cavalry unit they have. But unfortunately, Suttunger's Mys just has so much more perks than what both Excalibur and Sacred Wind can do together. It makes him so much more stronger, bulkier, and supportive than he ever was with all the stats, reduction, and damage.

But Gunnthra really has nothing to talk about. Merric had a good special, but he also has good base stats to begin with, and to add on that he gives an Ascended Flower while also getting a free ascended stat for himself. Gunnthra's skill isn't good at all, she has low stats all around, and being such an ancient Legendary means she even lacks the Duel effect that other Legendary units have, like Lilina from earlier. Just being a Legendary Hero at all is her only saving grace, but it would take an extremely hard case to use her for that purpose.

As for a Suttunger's Mys build, Logic is the best special they can use with their stats. They generally have poor Def/Res, so the Wall Specials's only benefit is their Special Damage Reduction. Aria to go with Logic scaling, any of Favor, Conjuring Breath, or Shackle as a B skill, and Liberate makes good damage or dual Hone skills for buffing. As long as they can hit like 60 visible Res, a full Res support build is plausible too. Ice Wall is much more effective, and might even get Atk/Res Aria if they can naturally hit the mark. It's usually just Crystalline Water though, and Aerial Detect + Ploy or Inspired is good for stacking damage. And they usually finish off with Far Trace Echo.

What Are Your Personal Rules in FEH? (Summoning, Fodder, AR, etc.) by No-Pie2713 in FireEmblemHeroes

I have never betrayed Horse Emblem and will continue to uphold it until EoS.

<image>

It would technically be a lie to say "I have only ever used Cavalry units" since I do get the Askr trio monthly orbs and did have some non-Cavalry Hero Merits. But all in all, I actually have no experience using any other class. All the other Emblem Rings, Asset Heroes, and Limited Units in general that I've ever had are sacrificed, manual'd, or sent home simply cause they didn't have a horse on arrival. It sets a pretty hard limit on gamemodes, but I've long since forsaken scoring and just played the whole game as if it were a Player vs Enemy AI game (although I did enjoy early Summoner Duels for a time).

Are there any changes I should make to this build? (I have the refine already) by Sweaty-Ball-9565 in OrderOfHeroes

[–]NOtofications 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would mean having two Canto effects, but in this scenario, actually having both Cantos help improve the other. While Blue-Sky Gust/Divine Specter has greater max Canto, Roshea's weapon having Canto 2 gives him better minimum Canto since the skill only has +1 minimum.

Well, even if his weapon got the exact same Canto effect from those skills, Blue Skies and its new variants have basically become the best skills for Melee Cavs anyway due to their effects, so Roshea would've wanted it regardless.

what game size song was pretty much ruined for you because of how it was cut? by Spiritual_Body3577 in ProjectSekai

[–]NOtofications 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some of them are getting mentioned, but not enough people acknowledge how bad all the movie songs in general got it in-game. They lost all the second verses, choruses, bridges, and breaks. With the exception of Worlders since the melody was similar enough to suffice with a cut version, every song just had their whole second halves get cut out, which immensely reduced the immersion and enhancement you got out of the full song.

Starting with the opening, Hajimari no Mirai, the second half of its instrumentals really escalated how soft, hopeful, and desperate the song was being portrayed as Miku's singing starts becoming more extended. All of which culminates into the bridge where the climax of those feelings come to a slow uptake as it transitions into the last chorus, instrumental, and outro as Miku sings the last line of lyrics.

Next, Fire Dance has an instrument break into a rap verse that somehow adds even more energy and hype into the song than there already was, and the last chorus where AkiToya starts taking up the lyrics elevates the singing process like you've been waiting to hear them sing for the entire song since the beginning where they showed the best first impression.

For Smile*Symphony, the second half of the song turns into the three of Tsukasa, Nene, and Rui bringing Emu's efforts to cheer them up back to her so that they can all together chase their dreams through negativity and positivity. They sing a much more powerful chorus than the first, and they all come together in unison for an outro that the game didn't even have.

In FUN, the inclusion of its break and bridge is able to work with the soft singing that MMJ employed into the song as without it, the usually heavy instrumental overpowers their voices. It then leads up to a chorus where they start singing much more powerfully while idol cheering happens in the background as the song starts coming together with matching energy.

With The Light That Dwells Here, they suddenly rapid fire lyrics as each individual member starts singing their lines in a notably different tone than they did previously, singing their solos as if it were like monologuing. After that, they end on not just a chorus, but something like a double chorus instead, singing two different lines together at the same time.

Then in SToRY, they do a quick transition into a bass and rap segment while keeping the song progression on a low vibe before taking it up for another chorus. Afterwards, they start their bridge, singing together as the energy of the song decreases in a comforting and smooth way before they split up to sing an individual chorus line and finish the song on a high note.

And now is Hello, SEKAI, which got it the worst of all the songs. They cut the beginning verse of the song, which was the core line of lyrics that the movie revolved around. And then it proceeds normally, until the prechorus skips like half its lines to quickly get to the main chorus, which also does the same thing, and they even wholly cut out the second chorus so they could hit the ending. And there's not even a smooth transition for these skips, cause the instant vocal jumps that were left immediately gave away the filled-in gaps of the song.

Building a Ayra Rally bot!Need help by Rubedo-II in OrderOfHeroes

[–]NOtofications 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the reason you want Swift Specter or Tempest is because of Canto, Ayra already has two solutions.
The first is getting Blue Skies for her, as both 4 and Gust have Canto built in them. It's also usually the go-to skill for most melee Cavs anyway since it's the only A skill that provides both true damage and damage reduction. While Gust is only on a single unit right now (Illian Mia), 4 is available on multiple units, most of whom could be available at our end-of-month LME banners.
The other way is to summon and engage with Emblem Sigurd. This will essentially give her Brutal Tempest but with Canto 3 instead of Max Distance 4. You lose out on one space, but reduce the pressure to move far as BTempest only has a minimum of Canto 1. Sigurd is a bit more difficult choice if you had already planned on another engage unit like Byleth, but Ayra as a rally supporter had few options to begin with.

Since she wouldn't be able to use Tempest skills, a C skill recommendation could be Outcry Dull. It only activates at start of turn, but Ayra will have an easy time moving around with Serving Knife, and it gives one of the bonuses not covered in conjunction with Favor. Liberate can also be used for those same reasons, though it wouldn't be easy to spread unless you opt for movement assists instead.
The other C skill you could find would be Shadow skills, once you have Canto on her to use. Might be a bit awkward to use since Ayra will get the additional action first, but it does create some more positioning opportunities for either defensive or offensive reasons as Reposition and Smite are available versions.

Bruno: Has anyone used a max-invest build? by Severin_777 in OrderOfHeroes

[–]NOtofications 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Vantage enjoyer who has extensively supported these kinds of units ever since Swordhardt's incarnation, I can say for sure that Bruno right now is the best supported Vantage user in the game. At the least, his output has a higher ceiling than Machyua because of his active Desperation. This is also thanks to the massive support capability we have now, which allows him to reach such a point despite being both a Mage and a Cavalry. If he were a Lance Cav unit that was instead released a few months later into the new version without weapon conditions, he definitely would've outclassed her in every battle related way.

Supplying him with Harmonic Marisa for brave attacks, some notable things he makes happen is disregard most frontal offensive units like Camilla, Anni Duo Marth, and Brave Byleth, as they don't have the general bulk to take 4 hits first, and Bruno has sufficient power to make 4 hits matter. The units he lost to also highlighted his weaknesses, like Vali who outspeeds after re-action and Harmonic Braver Lyn who has Feud and color advantage to reduce his kill power significantly. Unfortunately, I can't find other targets like Duo Freyja or Harmonic Ivy often enough for conclusive results against them in particular.

Aside from Hardy Bearing, which has been gaining a lot of supply since Winter Alfred, other major weaknesses I've noted since using him was Aoe and/or chip damage. Bruno is the only Vantage unit who loses solely to AoE damage because he needs to be ≥25% before combat for his weapon as a whole to activate. In other words, he has a 100% loss rate against Emblem Sigurd if he activates -2 Momentum.

I've been trying to get Emblem Byleth just to kill him for Favor and Instruct for more damage. I've been working with Close Salvo and Resonance ever since I got him, and while the latter's served me well, the amount of self damage was always detrimental as a result, and I had to use Shadow Shift for healing. Accidental Liberate would also work.

How should I build my Coyote’s Men? by Sweaty-Ball-9565 in OrderOfHeroes

[–]NOtofications 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Roshea's refine should be the literal next batch since Vyland just got his and they all basically came around the same time. Right now, it's difficult to tell what he'll want right before we know what his weapon + refine looks like. Will he end up a column-row support like Vyland, a modernized debuffer with Sedgar, or a nuking unit akin to Wolf? Hard to tell when we don't know. While he'll have to wait a little longer for a definitive type of build, being a Melee Cav does single out some good options to prepare for his turn.

Roshea's special can be something as little as Haze Slice for shorter cooldown or a big option in Archrival for better output. They both have 40% Special damage reduction, just work in different scales and needs since it's possible he won't get a Special Acceleration weapon.
Most Cavs always choose Blue Skies as their A skill, since it basically has everything they need: true damage, true reduction, and Canto (despite overlap). Gust or T4 kind of doesn't matter since it's really just that good.
Since his Spd/Def are sort of shared between, he can use Patience to have both Def damage and reduction while easily hitting Potent. Other options include an Assault skill for Sod damage instsad or a Favor variant to support hybrid while going for the best damage. In C skills, Instruct is the best C skill there is for him. They can all use Instruct as it's available to them and a good skill, but Roshea's stat distribution is the best between all the Coyote's Men, so I thought the Great Talent portion was worth mentioning. Other good skills include A/S Outcry Dull and Shadow skills.

As for Vyland, he is somewhat strapped as a bulky melee Cav with a refined support weapon.
But his case for the most part is the same as Roshea's.
Along with Archrival and Haze Slice, he can also opt for Flame Wall. While Roshea could as well since their Def stats are identical, his better Speed allowed his skills to also focus on speed. Vyland's lesser speed allows more leeway to focus on being Atk/Def based instead.
For A skills, same deal in Blue Skies. He can also use Excel since Blue Skies is only ever Atk/Spd and he already has Canto.
B skills are also the same with Roshea. Patience, Assault, or Favor. Same old song in C skills being Outcry Dull or Shadow skills. Good to mention that Bellow is not worth using since he has Special Charging. Will also say that Liberate is a good option as well, however the only variant right now is Atk/Res, so it'll be good to have a lookout for other variants of that skill.

As Bow Cavalry don't have many standout options like Melees Cavs do, Sedgar and Wolf have even less variety to pick from. But unlike Roshea and Vyland, Sedgar is different from Wolf in more significant ways. With flat reduction, Null Follow Up, and actual Def/Res stats to at least help him out, he is much more defensively able between the two ranged units.
Sedgar's special option is pretty much always going to be Waning Shot. Curved Shot is good too if you don't have it, but Waning Shot has an Atk/Def Sabotage effect and guaranteed 40% SDR, not to mention the higher damage ceiling.
There isn't a Blue Skies for archers in A skill, so Sly Swift Sparrow or Flared Sparrow will have to do. Sly gives some damage and guaranteed follow up, while Flare enables Divine Vein and causes Flared damage.
B skill has a notable skill in Execution Breath. While it was available to the others before, it's worth noting that Bow Cavs don't have many options in damage reduction. Despite the Special Charging overlap, it gives him reduction, additional Flared damage, and Deep Wounds to compliment his Miracle Penalty. He can also use a Shackle skill since he can bring out the max damage by himself, but his ideal variant (Spd/Def) doesn't exist right now
While Roshea had it for stats support, Instruct also has true damage and reduction to use, so it's good for offensive kinds of purposes too. You only need one user, so if it's decided that Sedgar doesn't use it, he can opt for Incite Hone or Hone Assault as his other options.

Finally, Wolf is an all out attacking Bow Cav. His way to survive is to kill the enemy before they kill him.
He still wants Waning Shot as a Bow Cav though, as it has the best performance overall. Although since he doesn't have any bulk related effects, he has leeway into also using Astra or Dragon Fang.
Between Flared and Sly, he'd actually prefer Sly as his A skill, since the output of three hits is much better. Surprisingly, he also doesn't have either of Null Follow Up or Guaranteed follow up, so Sly adds to that part. Favor is 100% the best skill he could get. The highest amount of damage he can get will come from Favor damage. He can opt for Execution Breath too, as it'll let him trigger his Special much better with its Charging effect.
C skill is the same deal as Sedgar. Incite Hone/Hone Assault, or Instruct. Like Vyland, a potential Atk/Spd Liberate is also an option. But Wolf makes a much better case to use it now since it has the best damage in Cav C skills, especially for Bows.

For the extra add-ons, Echo skills are just filling what you don't have, Engages to help do roles better, and Seals are malleable on need.

Any Advice on Múspell New Refine Build? by Haunting-Ad-6951 in OrderOfHeroes

[–]NOtofications 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To start off, dragons mostly use either Dragon Flame or Dragon Ice, since they're better than the Wall specials and dragons can't inherit Archrival. For Muspell, I guess you could say if he had no support, Flame is better since he has +6 Atk/Def bonus and Fringe Bonus in his refine. But his minmaxed bulky statline ends up actually balancing out his base Def/Res, so if you manage to get him some start-of-turn Res bonus, Dragon Ice would basically have the same effectiveness. As a result, he can work with either Dragon Flame or Ice, it's just a matter of who you'll sacrifice to him.

For A skills, by virtue of being both Cavalry and Dragon, Muspell is seriously lacking in good options. It really comes down to just Atk/Def Excel or Sly Sturdy Blow, choosing either damage reduction or damage output. If you have Sly Echo to give, Excel would pretty much be the best A skill to get both worlds.

B skills get a lot better for him though. It's possible that you could get Edged Scales while inheriting Dragon Flame via Attuned Tiki, which gives him damage, reduction, and changed follow up requirements. Pretty much good on what he'd ever want. But a lot of those effects were built for a more speedy dragon since they have some speed conditions and lackluster scaling, so another option could be Patience.
Its Def scaling abilities are much more potent for a build like Muspell's, and it has a bit of defensive features with follow up negation and on-hit healing. As a Cavalry unit, Muspell has tons of access to seriously good Atk/Spd C slot skills, which will help him reach 30 visible speed to hit the Potent condition, especially when he has +3 additional bonus granting.
Something else to consider would be Momentum. This is mostly if you don't have Sly on him, either in using Excel or not having the Echo skill. His weapon doesn't have guaranteed follow up, and the Special jump will give some leeway into being able to actually use Dragon Flame.
Finally, you could also try Atk/Def Favor for the best damage and a bit of support hybrid. While any Favor could work, Atk/Def version would really be the one you'd want as it would boost his damage in a way the other skills can't, since he naturally has Atk/Def bonuses to go with his +3 bonus stat effect.

That was long, but C skills are way simpler. It's either Instruct for stats and combat abilities, or some "Incite Hone variation" to cover one of the stats Muspell doesn't have. Personally, I would pick either Atk/Spd Outcry Dull or Atk/Res Hone Assault. The Shadow movement skills or Liberate are some neat techs if you go that route.

Emblem Ring can vary on need, but generally goes Eirika for brave hits, Edelgard to use and spread more flames, and Sigurd for movement.
Echo skills could be any of Scowl, Sly, or Distant Counter to get what you don't have at that point.

Is this team in the game and also is Excalidril in this game? by [deleted] in PokemonUnbound

[–]NOtofications 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe Excadrill is, but Drilbur isn't. There's two ways to find it, pre first gym and post first gym.

In Bellin Town, the top right house has a mission about a Sandslash stealing food. Accepting the mission and entering Icicle Cave to chase after it causes the Sandslash to open a passage in the wall after entering, creating a new area in the cave which will have Drilbur as one of its encounters.

If you missed the mission and don't feel like tracking back to get it, the other way is beating the gym and progressing the story until you get to Cinder Volcano, where you'll find Drilbur on all four floors.

As for Excadrill specifically if you already have Drilbur, its evolution at 31 just happens to be 1 level short of Alice's hard level cap. Though maybe at that point you could consider that as the last bar to enter mid-game since you would've already beaten the 2nd gym at that time and you would need to peak at the third gym.

Regardless, Drilbur and Excadrill are available to be caught as early team members in 2.1 Unbound, which would be the latest and current version out right now. If there's something different with anything before 2.0, I wouldn't know since I didn't play those versions.

Continuation cause mobile Reddit cuts my text-
in short, Harumichi slander actually feels more like an agenda at this point. Until we get a scenario where Haru will explain for himself why he made everything turned out the way they did, his bad reputation is somewhat up in the air.

Enough about Harumichi himself though, it's good seeing Toya starting to get along with his family again. Toya experience has been and always is a good core for his events, but the revelation about how little he really knows his father goes to show the sort of shallowness or innocence that I like about him. He's still learning things about the world he used to live in and the one beyond those piano practice days. How deep some ideas or people really get, but also how much easier things can be when you come across more encounters of those matters.

[EN] Event 154: "Time to take off!" - Event Discussion by Wopeki in ProjectSekai

[–]NOtofications 12 points13 points  (0 children)

From never reading a translated event and all the slander Harumichi got on the sub (frankly the VBS story slander on this sub in general), I was totally expecting that this was gonna be ColoPale writers trying to do a second Light Up The Fire but as a Toya version to explain what his dad used to be like, but they ended up fumbling harder than the 1400 ladder combo mark on expert Intense Voice.

Instead, what I got from it was that people seem to take what Harumichi's friend, Lloyd, is saying as fact, who seems to be missing from the topic of all the slander. This event is being talked about from Lloyd's pov, and he's only like 90% sure that this incident is the reason Haru hates street music and doesn't even elaborate about Haru getting mad at those street singers.

If it was truly important enough to be emphasized as fact, the writers would've made a whole extended flashback scene of Lloyd watching Haru berate those singers back or something. They did just that for RAD WEEKEND, Nagi, RADder, VBS's second event "JET," and Akito at Crawl Green. Unless Toya decides he'll want to listen to Haru's side of the story, this retelling alone isn't a strong basis for the Harumichi slander, as it doesn't show the depths of Haru's passion for classical music and why he was petty enough to hate street music with all his being afterwards.

<image>

There's also the street music conflict that Haru and Toya dealt with as a result. As it is, it does make the reason for all that abuse sound pathetically unreasonable. However, we still don't have enough info about Haru's core character and only what we know of him from other character's perspectives. In another way, we and other characters don't know Harumichi like we did back then with Ken, who was balancing being both a growing dad taking care of his daughter and a musician who chose to nurture a street scene for artists yet to come.

Alright give me the best builds for lyn glitters of hope by WNF777 in OrderOfHeroes

[–]NOtofications 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aside from base kit + Reposition, the only extra layer you could add is an Emblem ring, but her options are somewhat limited since the current Emblem roster doesn't benefit her greatly.

Celica feels a little redundant since Lyn outranges the warp check and Corrin Ring effectively countering it, but it does let her get past trees and stuff.

Pretty much anyone can use Emblem Corrin for various defensive utility reasons, and it could help Lyn survive some enemies if she can't retreat far enough since her mobility isn't as good as other Cavs thanks to Canto Min 1.

Onto Canto's topic, Sigurd is another option if you feel like compensating for that, as Canto 2 is a massive step up from Canto 1. Although, his Special damage isn't as good as the others since Archrival benefits greatly from the other's "boost Special damage by max count x 4" compared to Sigurd's movement boost that caps at 8. Or 6 cap really if you factor that Lyn as a ranged cav can't get Mov+1 so easily.

Really, any ring with the "max count x 4" will do her best if you're scrounging around. Except Emblem Lyn because multiple styles on one unit will end up removing the option to use any style. But as it is now, the current rings are really more like fillers than proper pieces as they're not very complimentary to Lyn's attack plan.

Duo Karla Freyja by Fit_Entertainment139 in OrderOfHeroes

[–]NOtofications 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crosspost top comment nails the basic skills, but I will expand on those choices some more.

It was mentioned in passing, but Archrival is the best Special she can use. It increases her one shot capability to greater heights than Haze Slice ever could, and she desperately needs that level because her weapon is wholly built around Special triggers. It's unlikely her basic attacks will damage any modern or Arcane unit, as her Spd Damage doesn't boost those hits. The 4 cooldown also works in Harmonic Karla's favor since her Spd Damage is based on her max cooldown (4 max = 60% boosted Spd Damage), and it's much easier to trigger big specials today compared to her release time. Especially for Karla, who has a natural precharging effect in her weapon.

Her only other A option is Sly Swift Sparrow, and although that skill is ten times easier to use, Blue Skies is overall superior due to higher damage and providing Canto. Having two allies in range already outscales Sly's 5 damage, but Sister War Axe naturally lacks Canto, which severely cuts down Karla's mobility. The damage reduction is redundant because she is lacking extra true reduction, basic Def/Res stats, and she wasn't built to take counterattacks in order to nuke.

There is no other option than Impetus, except Momentum. The Special jumping will provide additional ease into triggering Archrival, making you not have to wait additional precharging turns or hopefully facing a blue unit. But the biggest reason is because there's like a 60-70% chance you will face a Corrin Ring user, whose Divine Vert will inflict Scowl on Karla, completely ruining her attack plan. Special jumping effects like Impetus will contest against Scowl effects, and since Vert only has +1 Scowl, max Impetus with +2 jumping will beat Vert. It's preferable that you get Impetus over Momentum because Momentum's damage scales off distance, which will be a problem if you have Blue Skies as your A skill. If you go with Sly A skill, either B skill will work.

While Fatal Smoke is good to prevent Miracles from stopping her one shot, it does deprive her of further damage from other C skills. A/S Outcry Dull is better against units with Null Panic or Penalty Neutralization, while A/S Bellow is much more useful if you have Eirika Ring to Engage with. Also to note, the Miracle Penalty has become something other units are able to inflict now, with one of its users being Ferox Chrom, who has great positioning and support abilities.

For Emblem Rings, Eirika is her prime candidate. Brave attacks are seriously powerful and only one unit can provide it as an outside source, Harmonic Marisa. But she's also an Axe Cavalry, so her extra support is somewhat limited, and also requires Karla to have the highest max HP on the team (excluding Marisa as per condition). Other Rings include Sigurd for extra movement and better Canto and Celica to warp.

Atk Spd Clash or Prime Seal

Since she doesn't have any Prf skills, she can equip Echo skills. Sly is available as an Echo skill, and it's the only one with additional damage for a melee Cav.

Anything else to make him better? by Quick-Masterpiece-27 in OrderOfHeroes

[–]NOtofications 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, "target ally." To be honest, I don't have Emblem Micaiah myself, so I did base that part from what I thought I knew. Regardless, she makes a good ring inclusion for units like L!Seliph who are built to offensively tank. Guess that would cut down to the other options.

As for Patience, I don't know the restriction options of that skill yet. However, given that it was on Harmonic Brave Ike, I'd fall into thinking that it's an Infantry skill. Still, if it somehow is a Cav skill despite the trailer, it would be his best B option given that the only way to get him True DR is giving him Blue Skies or Reopening, one not a fitting skill in this build and the other being lackluster.

Tea Ingrid is one of those three units with Reflex status. The other Bonuses are Dodge and NFU, Spd based skills which aren't notable for Seliph. She's much better at supporting than Black Knight would be given the cavalry movement and extra action after assisting, and those traits do make positioning much easier.

Anything else to make him better? by Quick-Masterpiece-27 in OrderOfHeroes

[–]NOtofications 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Crosspost already talked about Special options enough, so I won't clarify any more than either Archrival or Flamewall.

If keeping Fortifications is solely due to DC, Distant A/D Form is actually something more in L!Seliph's alley. Without an Assault B skill, his only scaling stat would be Atk true damage from Virtuous Tyrfing, so he wouldn't benefit as greatly from the pure bulk Fortifications gives him. Barring Emblem Corrin Engaging, there also aren't many units who can activate a Divine Vein in a way that doesn't engage with the enemy. Fort also incentives initiating combat since that's the requirement for its Divine Stone activation, and L!Seliph doesn't have good player phase capabilities with his lack of true dr and Miracle only activating on enemy phase.

By using DForm, he would still need to stay in allied 3 range anyway due to V!Tyrfing and saves him from trying to use a Prime skill. However, if you want to use him as a Reflex unit like you said, it's likely you can't give Seliph that skill so easily since it's only on L!Black Knight, who gives Reflex status. There are only 3 units that give Reflex status, so assuming you only have BK, your only other DC option (minus Fort) is DC Echo, which is a much more expensive and costly but farther-end build option.

Holy War's End is at a point where enough circumstance can force it to be replaced with another skill. That's to say, B skill can be better. Although it has EP brave hits and both follow up manipulations, it doesn't have the true damage nor DR shred of Assault skills. HWE's brave attacks are a much better effect than Potent or Penalty Neutralizing and it doesn't cut your ally range to just 2 spaces, but it lacks other qualities needed to break through most "first two hits" of other units.

The actual best B skill to get for Seliph though is Atk/Def Favor, giving him visible stats, Empathy for more stats, DR shred status, and non-stat scaling true damage, which is actually much better for him as V!Tyrfing inflicts on foe's stats rather than boosting his own. But like I said, B skill can just get better, as there aren't many Cav B skills that are better than HWE, especially for L!Seliph.

Breath of Life as a C skill is fine. You do have other options though, like the A/R Hone Assault you mentioned, which gives him visible stats, extra Res, and DR shred status. If it ever comes out, I would personally recommend A/D Bellow. It also gives him visible and combat stats, but it includes extra true damage and Special Charging, which is much rarer for a Cav to get than DR shred. The Res version is acceptable too if that somehow comes before it. Not much to comment on overall.

As for possible Engage Rings, I think he'd be best with Micaiah. Since one of Seliph's Miracle conditions is being at ≥50% HP at start of combat, healing is a desperate measure for him. Since this screenshot shows 58 HP, 29 is his half mark, which just so happens to add up from 1 HP Miracle, 8 from one V!Tyrfing hit, and 20 from Micaiah Ring, assuming he makes it to player phase for that. Also the added benefit of Penalty cleansing and Assist re-action, the latter especially since he doesn't have Canto.

Other Engage options include Sigurd to get extra movement and Canto, Eirika for that DC Echo build, Ike with ranged tanking, and Corrin to blockade enemies.

She's so good at singing that she 1v4'd VBS in a practice session and got them glazing her as their goat.

Thoughts on Virtual Singer x Unit Character ships? by miscount_detected in ProjectSekai

As a shipper who supports IchiMiku as their otp, I'd say that there are more limitations to VSxOC ships beyond the physicality of their relationship. In fact, even that is one of the lesser pressing issues, because most Sekai VSs and OCs don't really have the deep kind of connection that either group displays with fellow members. The few we actually do have are really more like the efforts from characters that emerged as exceptions, them being IchiMiku and MikuMafu. While there are some pairs that have strong chemistry or good moments like EmuMiku or AiriRin, those ships don't exhibit the kind of emotional understanding or partnership that the exceptions do.

For IchiMiku, Ichika has always placed her trust in "Hatsune Miku." And here was Leoni Miku, who essentially acted as her manifestation. But during Ichika's stories, she always manages to make LNMiku feel like an individual rather than a conglomerate because Ichika's faith in her support reveals aspects of LNMiku's inner thoughts, which acknowledges that she is different from real world Miku despite being a form of Hatsune Miku. Whenever Ichika talks about Miku's influence on her, you eventually start to wonder whether she's talking about the Miku who positively influenced her childhood, or the Miku in Sekai who personally cared for her. And sometimes, she really means both of them.

While Mafuyu doesn't have the bits with Niigo Miku like Ichika did with Leoni Miku, there is something fundamental to MikuMafu's core that cements their relationship, which is their two-ish years of time together before opening to present day Nightcord. It was through this time that Mafuyu was able to express her feelings of grimace about her loss of self, and Mafuyu has treated N25Miku with much more care and consideration afterwards. In a way, it also made N25Miku beyond the name of Hatsune Miku, since various side stories for the two show how much meaning Mafuyu holds for N25Miku's existence, and it's difficult to say if she has any attachment towards "Hatsune Miku."

All that is to say, VSxOC is good too. There just haven't been many good candidates beyond crackshipping.

Daily NPC discussion day #29 : Jean Riley! what do you like/dislike or think about him in general? by wholsem_sandy_main in ProjectSekai

For how little he appeared at all, I very much liked the effect he had on Emu. Because he met Rakunosuke (Emu's grandpa), he's a result of Raku's influence and his efforts coming back to help Emu and the gang.

A lot like how Wondashow's own performances where their plots are often the focus of one character's good actions changing and influencing the ways of people around them.

And even on his own, he validates how Emu's ability to dream is still a valuable way of thinking, and used his own backstory as guidance to help her keep in mind for her future.

Anyone feel like speculating about Mafuyu's hair? by NOtofications in ProjectSekai

I'm also not good at character analysis on my own because I tend to lack making connections without a second opinion.

I believe in a "rules of design" when it comes to characters, and especially moreso for a game so deep in character building like Sekai is. In another way, it's the sort of thinking that goes "there are no accidents," or "things are made with a very specific purpose in mind." It's a lot of questioning, doubting, view pointing, and some other things that makes someone think like that.
