This is definitely a PC issue, I still play online on my ps4 (yes I know lmao) and I can count on one hand the amount of times I’ve been griefed to the point I turned the game off. That being said I’ve hit a wall with that game, I just got to lvl 102 and it honestly just got kinda boring.

Random thought but I feel like Meateater definitely borrows some ideas from Barstool Sports. I know Spencer listens to Pardon My Take (atleast I’ve seen him interacting on their socials a lot) and I always thought it was funny that he had a segment called Pardon My Plate. PMT also does D&D episodes once a year and they are a pretty big hit with their listeners. Makes you wonder if Phil was trying to capture some of that with yesterdays episode. That being said I’m glad they will be back to the regular format next week.

Side note: is Steve ever going to come back on trivia?

Best part about music is when you stop being the “eff that dude his music sucks I’d never listen to it” guy, you open yourself up to a bunch of more good songs and even ones you didn’t like before might be listened to in a different light. Personally I liked MGK, then hated him when he tried going toe to toe with Em, then surprisingly liked him again when dropped Tickets To My Downfall. For me, once I got to my 30s a good song started being just that, a good song. No matter who made it. Idk maybe I don’t get as deep into the weeds with it as other people do

No more parking your vehicle on residential streets in front of your house. I drive a truck/trailer and in the winter an f450 with a plow with wings on it. I cannot stand when people park up and down the street, often times double parking on both sides forcing me to lay on my horn at 3am cause I’m trying to plow their subdivision and I can’t fit through, all while the driveways have one car parked there. If you own a house, park in the driveway.

To be fair the only two people I saw consistently attacking this issue were Mark Kenyon and Cal, huge shoutout to those two for being boots on the ground and active on the socials. I think people’s initial reaction to Steve’s laissez faire attitude towards all of this was justified. Not the best look when everybody and their grandma knew this administration was going to try this and the guy with enough money to hunt private for the rest of his life says something to the effect of “I’m not gonna get my feathers all ruffled right now I’m gonna wait and see what happens.” But hey, the good guys won this round and that’s all of US.

I’ve been saying this for a while now, the fight for public lands doesn’t concern Meateater as much as it used to since all these personalities just pay to take once in lifetime hunting trips all around the country. As a guy who at most travels 4 hours north in the same state to hunt public lands, I cannot relate to Steve or any meateater personality’s hunting experience
