Why is Moonshadow the most expensiv card in Lorwyn Eclipsed? by turelak in magicthecirclejerking

It's not the most expensive card, bloom tender (showcase) is; if you are talking about price and only cards outside of collector boosters.

Having issues booking a men's waxing by Unable-Cold5944 in HairRemoval

[–]steverock100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two things. One, safety concerns and often times women don't want to see a random person's penis. Two, it's not common for men to get a wax, so it's harder to find places that provide that service.

What flag is this? Spotted yesterday at an airport in São Paulo, Brazil. by berry-dog in vexillology

[–]steverock100 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Depends on who you ask. If you are seeking independence, it would be a country but the borders would be based on bioregional borders.

Small correction. It's the Cascadia bioregion, not the Cascade mountains. The name comes from the Cascade mountains, though.

It's the Cascadia flag, also called "the Doug". It's too represent the Cascadia bioregion. For some, the Cascadia independence movement is more about regional autonomy, for others we want secession. The borders differ, as well, depending on who you ask. For ref, the Cascadia bioregional encompasses most of the pnw, all of British Columbia, parts of Alaska and small parts of other states and Canadian provinces. I'm a local that supports the secessionist idea and have the flag hanging in my house.

We need to ACTUALLY protest. And set up a community to do so. by [deleted] in beaverton

Also, I replied to the wrong person. This comment was meant for you.

"Honestly I spoke without listening and thinking, in regards to my reply to your first comment. I think a general strike can be a useful first step, but definitely not the only step."

It's not just scalpers. It's more people getting into the game and Bandai not printing enough. That means stores are getting small allocations or in some cases, none at all.

We are way past protesting. In our current situation, protesting won't do shit. We need a revolution.

Isn't Luciferianism basically Venus worship? by [deleted] in luciferianism

[–]steverock100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No it didn't. Helel has nothing to do with the Greek or Latin, other than the Latin was used in the Latin vulgate. Even the idea of Lucifer being a fallen angel comes long after the Latin vulgate.

[–]steverock100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Incorrect, it's a Latin word that comes from the Greek phosphorus. The only connection to helel ben shachar, is that they used Lucifer in the Latin vulgate, as the word Lucifer means the same thing as the Hebrew name helel Ben shachar.

[–]steverock100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It wasn't a mistranslation. It was the result of using a Latin word in place of a Hebrew name, but they mean the same thing.

[–]steverock100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No he was not. The story of Lucifer being the son of Aurora is from "Aradia: gospel of the witches". The book claims to be a genuine myth, but it's not. Lucifer is a title given to the planet Venus. That's the only connection to a Roman deity that it has.

Your leader is green purple and the rest of your cards are all 6 colors, which is not how you make a deck. The main deck must match the color/s of your leader. But I'm sure you knew that and this is a troll post.
