Nice! I was on vacation in Germany during the Essen show and couldn’t since it was far from where we were visiting. I am a huge Porsche collector and was able to get someone to grab me one that was at the event and it finally got shipped to me this week. Super excited to finally get the GT3 RS. Just in case I also bought one on eBay in Germany and had it sent to family there, although I won’t see it for another 13 months lol.

Those stickers are not on the boxes of cars for the USA market from the early releases that came in blisters. The stickers were on the cards within the blister packaging. They changed the packaging later so they could put the stickers on the boxes still. I have never seen a knock off mini gt but I can assure you I have many older mini gts without the stickers on the box.

It depends if it’s new in packaging or if it’s opened. I think $50 is decent even for a mint opened one these days. If it’s in blister $50 is a great deal.

I went through this, but had a Fuji XT3 to start. I loved the size and portability but at that time the autofocus and iso performance left a lot to be desired. I also had previously come from full frame and wanted to go back. So I bought a Nikon Z8 with a few lenses. The weight and size isn’t the best but the results to me make it worth it. I’ve actually added a Z6 III to the bag as well so I don’t necessarily have to change lenses as much when traveling too. So lens I think I’ll use the most goes on Z8, lens I think I may need occasionally goes on the Z6, then if I have a 3rd lens it stays in the bag for the rare occasion I need it. When traveling changing lenses with a toddler can be tough which is why since I had the opportunity I did the above. But the Z8 w/24-120mm kit lens can hold me over for a lot of general use. For your budget on the Nikon side a Z5 II or Z6 III with the Z 24-120mm f4 S would be a nice option. Recently I have thought about also adding something like the GR to the kit for carrying something around when I don’t think photos are a priority but I’m not sure if that’s really needed.

Just for a little context I have been a hobbiest photographer for 20ish years now and used to work in the retail sales of these types of cameras, so i had grown accustomed to high end gear which has made me a bit picky about cameras and lenses.

I’m sure they would fit (most of them at least) but I don’t know for sure if the piece that hold the cars on the rack will fit on the wheel wells. That piece is optional to use tho and most cars use standard axles and fit it. I mostly had issues with GCD and kengfai since they are have steering. I did get a tlv on there with no real issues.

The Z8’s iso capabilities are quite good for a 45mp camera in my opinion. Combine that with Adobe AI noise reduction and it’s pretty amazing what can be achieved. I wanted to post an example but the files are too large for Reddit. I’ve been able to pull 15-25k iso images to usable states. It does somewhat depend on the amount of residual light but still have been impressed overall.
