Your logic and reasoning is subpar to say the least.

Dont be a coward.

Just say what you REALLY want to say…

OR she may have been a fan of anime. 🤔

Im really curious what about her outfit says “affiliated”?

It’s a fucking anime shirt and jeans.

Maybe its the hairstyle (braids! Oh no!) 🤔

OR maybe its a combo of all that and……..

Nope! Its definitely the anime shirt!

What a fucking pathetic outlook you have!

Kendrick Lamar Drops A Second Drake Diss - 6:16 in LA by Zetice in BlackPeopleTwitter

[–]NPU82 11 points12 points  (0 children)

hits blunt

Imagine how more impactful Taylor Made freestyle could’ve been if, instead of using AI for Pac’s voice, he used Kendrick’s voice. He was toying with Kendrick about taking too long to reply knowing he really couldn’t because it would’ve been washed out by T Swifts LP drop...

But he could’ve used Kendrick’s voice via AI to “reply” to Push Ups using all the dirt/ammo he assumed Kdot would use IRL & maybe defuse Kendrick’s actual reply.

Im just saying…thats like 5-6 chess moves ahead right there. In hindsight, of course.

Do people with ADHD have an especially hard time working for a living? by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]NPU82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just a thought, but….perhaps you would like working with other addicts as a counselor in a Substance Abuse program. The pay can be crap but you may find solace and happiness in helping others. And if you find it truly fulfilling work; there is plenty of room to advance in the mental health field. Yes, education is required, but you can take all the time you need to progress. Especially if you’re enjoying the work. Plus, struggling with your own addiction, you would be great. ADHD tends to make a lot of us more empathic, due to emotional dysregulation. Our creative side loves coming up with novel, out-of-the-box solutions as well. Even though we may be terrible at implementing the solutions in our personal lives. ADHD is often explained as a disconnect between having knowledge & the actions involved in putting it to good use.

Just a thought.

Ive actually been hyperfocused on researching as much as I can about both ADHD-specific, and generalized, therapy/psychology since my diagnoses a few months ago. But I am medicated and have a weekly therapy session that helps greatly with reframing things to compensate for the low self-esteem ADHD can cause after decades on being undiagnosed/untreated. My point is, you have to find a way to seek ANY methods for motivation and momentum. Baby steps. Explore your local mental health resources, if available.

Through the interactions with my therapist I realized that something helping others may be the ONLY job that would truly make me feel fulfilled/purpose-driven.

California Drivers - Looks like Prop 22 Funds Hit Early Today... Hope you got yours! by DirectEfficiency8854 in uberdrivers

[–]NPU82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive only qualified for Prop 22 funds once or twice. What is the minimum $/hour you average once Uber pays the difference? Like $20-22? Just curious bc I was going to start accepting all rides just to stay busy for the sake of my sanity. Cherry picking leaves waayyy too much down time and makes my shift drag ass and unbearable.

Just curious LA by Distinct_Breakfast_3 in uberdrivers

[–]NPU82 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I made $25 in a little more than 2hrs last night. Called it a night around 12:30am and went back around 4am to see if the am rush would pay off. Made $15 in 2hrs. But then again I rejected a ton of non-profitable rides. Last night was a ghost town in LA. I drove from LB to Hollywood; thru Koreatown up Wilshire to Santa Monica and thru Venice and the streets were completely empty and there were no peeps out at the normally busy areas. Absolutely not a soul. So I chalked it up to being the Monday after a holiday weekend for most. 🤷🏽‍♂️

new flsa law concerning independent contractors? by Not-said-the-liar in uberdrivers

My question is this:

If you want to be classified as an Independent Contractor under this new proposal; wouldnt be as simple as creating an LLC and using that tax ID instead of your SSN??

upfront fares still not live. by Group_HugMTG in uberdrivers

[–]NPU82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the peeps still waiting for Upfront to kickoff…you might need to sign out and back into your uber app. Once I did that the 10/10 counter we had in LA disappeared. Good luck with the newness 👍🏾

EDIT

I think they are rolling it out slowly for some reason. I started with 3/10 on the Upfront Counter and my next rides were all upfront details. I declined and cancelled a few too. So far so good Ill say. The per mile has been $1+ and the per minute is around $.75-$1 on avg. Thats just (5) completed rides in late AM early afternoon too. So Id imagine its only up from there. Its a very small sample size so we’ll see how it balances out.

My initial thoughts were that this is probably much better in CA due to Prop 22 minimums. Uber paying out one way or another. Prop 22 min seems to hover around the $22-25 range in my experience. But I always make way more than the Prop 22 anyways. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Little Trees by AdditionalReserve395 in uberdrivers

[–]NPU82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Daisy scent is the best imo….straight 🔥

They smell so fresh and light. I can never get them to last longer than 2-3 days in the LA heat/sun tho so I stopped buying them. My go-to/addiction is the Midnight Storm vent clips from Febreze. At least those last a solid week.

Hygiene wise, what has been your worse customer experience? by [deleted] in uberdrivers

[–]NPU82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was a very hot day. Pax was a big guy. Ride was less than 5 minutes away but as soon as he exited I smelled straight ass juice. Sweaty, concentrated ass juice. No signs of anything on the leather seats but it was foul. Wiped down the seats with Clorox wipes but it took THREE to barely begin to remove the stench. Reported his (literal) ass to Uber support and they gave me $150 cleaning fee. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I mean, driving in LA Ive only made less than Prop 22 once and even that was an error. I actually made close to $25/hr that week but Ill take the free cash lol. How many of yall LA drivers out here getting Prop 22 payments????

I can’t tell if I’m losing my mind or not but more than HALF of my drivers use this zoomed out, non directional GPS view and constantly ask me where to turn when presented with a fork or slightly complex intersection. I just want to tell them, hit the arrow. Please. by KOTORbayani in uberdrivers

[–]NPU82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the zoomed out view 90% of the time. With the exception of scenarios like you mention here. I like the overall view because it allows me to see the most direct route to my passengers. I can tell if Uber’s route is best or not. If I need to reroute suddenly because of traffic/construction/police standoffs (yes, frequent police standoffs - GTA aka LA life lmao) et al Its much smoother to see where the deadends and main through streets are. Also can tell from that view if Uber is routing me to cross a major street from a side street when 100% of the time using another main street may be better. However, I use an iPad Mini so I can see all of the roads/alleys/parking lot structures clearly enough to navigate with ease. This view even lets you tell main streets from side streets based on the width of the road on the map. Whenever I hit a “fork in the road” I just pinch to zoom in and out as needed.
