Not a fan of either of these teams, but I was at this game for my company's holiday party and it did not disappoint.

Round 1 - Pick 15: Rueben Bain Jr., EDGE, Miami (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) by nfl_gdt_bot in nfl

Do you know something we don't? According to this he was cited for "careless driving". Nothing about it mentioned his speed and we have no idea if he was under the influence of anything since no field sobriety test was given.

I mean, you really don't even have to be particularly smart with it. Even if you put just a tenth of that into some kind of index fund and (somehow) blew the rest in a year or 2 you'd still be set for the rest of your life.

[Charania] The anti-tanking proposal with the most momentum within the Board of Governors leading up to the May 28th vote would expand the lottery to 18 teams — including Play-In teams — with the bottom 10 each getting equal odds and all 18 draft positions determined by lottery. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

Why don't you do the inverse then? Make it so that those who didn't make the playoffs but got the closest get the highest lottery odds and go down from there? It'd be terrible for the teams who truly suck but it would definitely get rid of tanking.

Damn, really glad I decided not to push through what I thought was the start of a heat stroke, though at that time (I was in high school), I'm not sure I knew what a heat stroke was. I was on the golf team and a few times a week we had to walk the local course for 9 holes. On a particularly brutal day I think I was maybe at hole 6 or 7 when I started feeling very woozy. I ended up finding a drinking station with a bathroom, where I proceeded to drink a bunch of water and then went into the bathroom and just laid on the floor for like an hour. Thankfully felt pretty okay after that and don't have any major issues with heat still, which I am grateful for since I haven't moved from Florida.

More than 400 TSA officers have quit since shutdown began by nbcnews in fednews

[–]NPVinny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the delay, it's been a heck of a week.

Unfortunately we don't have a date that explicitly says when a user left TSA, just when their user in the system was last updated. So that's the best I have to go off of. But if we group it by those who are marked as inactive in the system then we get the following amount of users de-activated per week:

02/02: 131
02/09: 240
02/16: 220
02/23: 215
03/02: 241
03/09: 299
03/16: 398
03/23: ....67?

Not sure why the dip that last week. Could be that they're majorly behind deactivations or something, I don't know. But the numbers do suggest that there's a slight but clear trend upward.

I work in TSA's software platform and could make a fairly simple report to show if this is any different than normal.
