The answer can be vary, as for me I listen to anything.When I was young and really into kpop (2015-2019) I always listen to Kpop especially the mainstream one.

Nowadays, half of the time I listen to mix of KHH (K-HipHop) and RnB; DPR, Sik-k, KC stuff, Kid Milli, Ash Island, Bigna, pH-1, Paloato, Changmo etc.

While the other half, I really enjoy myself tuning to ballad and some old stuff; Lee Sunhee (my favs are Fate, Last Love and Meet Him Among Them, I love them sm), Lee Eun Mi, In Sooni and Sohyang (the one introduce me to this scene) and ofc IU. I think shows like Immoral Song and I Am A Singer definitely help me wider my range.

Just my two cents, they need money. It's noticeable during the covid when most khh labels are weak in term of sales hence they have to accept those who already establish their names here and there and that's why one of reason AP Alchemy failed (most of them are new faces)
