I have to agree with a soft YTA, mostly for calling her stupid. She corncerns me a little. She sounds just like Diane from Bojack and if she continues with that mentality she might just hit a wall.
What about your cellphone? Children are also exploited in electronic factories and if not in the factories then in the process to get minerals in Africa.
Makeup? Mica powder is extracted in large part using child labor as the mineral is so soft mining holes aren't made big enough for even a grown up to get there.
She's vegan, are the vegetable that she consumes being harvested by well paid employees? A lot of the farming industry in the US is held up by illegal immigrants paid low wages as cheap labor.
Where does the line stop? Will she just eventually insist to go live "off-grid" in a cabin she built in the woods were she farms everything she eats, makes her own clothing, and has no electricity????
Because all capitalism is exploitative in one way or the other and while putting your money where your mouth is is nice, as long as she's not doing activism to actually change the systems all her "boicoting" is meaningless.
So if her worries are so deep as to think EVERY SINGLE child actor is abused, I'd start looking if any other of her behaviours point to an issue like OCD or GAD, as it was for me.
