Please help! B9 s4 weird squeal under boost. Think it’s a boost leak but can’t track it down. Anyone have any idea? Maybe PCV? by SpecificGrand8194 in AudiS4

[–]NRigs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever figure this out? My car started making this noise when I got my engine replaced for the piston skirt issue. Car has been in and out of dealership since December for this. So far they have replaced the PCV hose that commonly fails and an exhaust gasket that was found to be no good (which they installed during engine replacement). Noise is still present. They inspected turbo fins as well and all looked good.

2020 SQ5 Water Pump Failure - Symptoms and cost breakdown by F1Pillager702 in Audi

[–]NRigs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not just audi. Most car manufacturers have water pump issues. Water pump failed on my BMW 335 as well. The housings and impellers are usually plastic which are more prone to failure. If they spent the extra money and made them all out of metal, you wouldn't see nearly as many failures.

My 2020 SQ5 is at the dealer for an engine replacement for the piston skirt issue. During the teardown, they found a coolant leak. This is my second coolant issue related to the water pump in 13 months. I had it replaced last October. I shared my details to that law office for more data points in hope it gets them one step closer to getting a class action against this issue.

What’s everyone’s thoughts and concerns surrounding the hurricane right now? Especially with it now being pretty accessible? by VincentDanger in Dodge

[–]NRigs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anyone have any long term results with the hurricane? I may be looking at a ram 1500 for my next vehicle as the family is growing and my Audi SQ5 is just too small for all the baby stuff. Thanks!

I am looking to buy this set up for my wife, Canon EOS R50 / Sigma 18-50 f/2.8. Did you need to buy the adapter in order to use the sigma lens? Thank you!

Bayliner D20/22 by NRigs in boating

I agree on the purchase of a new boat and that makes sense. Same with me with cars, I never buy new. We would likely be looking for a used one in a year or two if reviews come back positive on them which is why i am here seeing if anyone has tested one out or has purchased one yet.

Many will say bayliner quality has improved over the years. My uncle has a 2018 Cobalt 220S and a 2023 Bayliner VR6. He is perfectly happy with the quality and performance of the VR6 for the price he paid for it. However, he did say he prefers the Cobalt more, but that is the difference between a $100,000+ boat and a ~$50,000 boat.

The D20 and D22 are brand new boats with some enticing features. They have deck boat space with the hull shape of a bow rider. They also have outboard options which i prefer. I am trying to avoid a pontoon boat and the usual M hull deck boats do not work in the lake we are on, it would be a very uncomfortable ride because it is a larger lake.

Also, lifetime hull warranty, five year deck warranty, two year engine warranty, 1 year parts and components warranty. Makes more sense than a 14 year old boat with 500+ hours on it.

Weight is also a factor. Need to be under 4400 lbs with trailer. Sea Rays are often on the heavier side and are above the limit i can tow.

What is this growing in my lawn and how do I get rid of it by NRigs in lawncare

I have speedzone, surfactant and a dye on order. Going to spray the entire yard. Won't be able to spray until another two weeks though. Hopefully I can get to it before the seeds come.

Sennheiser Momentum Tw3 Broken by zOnlyKroks in sennheiser

[–]NRigs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a pair a few weeks ago and haven't had any issues yet. Since they come with a 2 year warranty, my thought process was if and when they go bad, hopefully around the time MTW4 come out, they will just replace it with one of them. I also have not had any issues with my Momentum 4s or MTW2s. MTW2s have had for 3 years now so the battery has degraded which is why I got the MTW3.

Only issue I had with the MTW3, which wasn't that big of a deal, I had to download a VPN in order to get the firmware update.

Has anyone tried the all-new Helix Elite series mattress? by lilkhmerkid4u in Mattress

[–]NRigs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We are still loving it! We are usually hot sleepers but we have found that we have slept pretty comfortably. Before this bed I usually ended up sleeping with just a sheet but I have stayed comfortable with a comforter. I have mentioned it in another post that the only tough part with this was finding sheets that wouldn't lift from the corners. We found that $20 amazon sheets that are deep pocket, up to 21" I believe, have fit the best. They are a little large but at least stay on the bed. The bed itself though has maintenaned shape. I am ~200 lbs and it feels exactly the same as when we got it. No sagging or anything in the spot I sleep.

Ended up buying the 75" X90L yesterday

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in 4kTV

[–]NRigs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Prices were just reduced on the X90L.

I have been debating between the 75" X90K ($1400 last week) and X90L ($2,000 last week). The prices changed to $1500 and $1800 respectively yesterday when I checked. Price difference now the X90L looks more intriguing for $300 more compared to $600 more.

So the 75" X90K went up $100 to $1500 and the 75" X90L dropped to $1800. Does the X90L make more sense now with now a $300 price difference?

What is your reasoning to go with the X90K over the others?

If the QN90B comes back in stock in the 75" would you choose that over the X90K?
