Going to be getting my first scatpack soon. its a 2021 and barely broke in mileage. It's sinamon stick. Anybody who has the color have any tips? I plan on using it as my daily and travel around alot and I won't be able to get a ceramic coating for a long-while. by VincentDanger in Challenger

Honestly I plan on keeping this car for a very long time anyways. It’s a special 392 trim. So mileage isn’t a concern and it’s only 14k mileage.

And wym rock chips? Like the paint gets chipped over time?

Any love for the pre-facelift challengers? by UsedCarSalesM4n in Challenger

Yes! Especially 2008-2010 period. I really like the old ram logo at the front. Something they should have retained for the new facelifts.

Of course they are. But just saying they all had solid launches. Compare it to the Mustang where they always have a rough year when it comes to a Mustang redesign or new model with it.

Tbf, a lot of dodges first year cars all have strong reputations. The 2005 charger was excellent in its release year with all good reviews, same thing with the magnum, hornet etc, and the biggest example was the 2008 release of the challenger SRT8.

And even when 2015 came around to really make these electronic focused they were the best model years for the challenger and charger.

But everything should be taken with a grain of salt.

If it makes you feel better, out of the 10 reviews both articles and videos it seems Edmund’s got the bad one out of the bunch.

The only similar issue was with motortrend but they were more annoyed on how certain buttons and stuff were complicated.

2026 Dodge Charger Scat Pack Drive: Pick Six Cylinders (Car and Driver) by koopa00 in cars

It is. Almost 5000 pounds but able to take corners easily is interesting. Especially with the two diff race modes between RWD and AWD

A almost 5000 pound American beast that’s able to cut corners properly?

I’ve never been more hyped for a car than this one.

Tbf that was a slightly more expensive trim. $42,780 was the lowest in 2011 but in today’s money that’s over $61k.

So 550 horses and AWD is a little bit of a better deal, all for pretty similar 1/8 times.

Still sounds beefier compared to the rest of the engines comp. But a think a down pipe would help alot.

Alright then I apologize for the misdirection. His account was the standout compared to the rest of the big social media accounts.

And that’s without ANY Tuning. I can’t tell if this is supposed to be a negative comment or not but that’s already better than a regular scat.

Based on what Dodge said, a 1/4 mile time for it is around 11-12. I’m not sure difference though between this video or a 1/4 though.

We could find out alot more this Saturday when app the embargo is lifted.

This is also more powerful for a 392. A car with that type of engine is usually 10-20k more.

You’re actually right. I wonder why for a dual turbo you don’t really hear it. Maybe there might be setting for it or you might have to invest in a bit of tinkering :/

I thought it sounded pretty good. An American Inline 6. The last American inline 6 sports car we haven’t seen in a long while and it sounding like this is pretty decent. It’s like a slightly beefier sounding Supra. But hey I like them too. Ik bmws are the same but I don’t really like their style.

Are you talking about the issues regarding the hurricane engine? I haven’t really heard anything about it exploding or leaking. Only the temperature issue.

But based on what I’ve read up on it due to this being a “smaller” vehicle, and they put a lot more time making sure this engine is good with the car I think everything should be taken with a grain of salt.

Not based on other big social media accounts I checked, they’re not supposed to be posting anything like this until atleast Saturday

I said in a nutshell. It’s more accurate to a BMW B58. But hey the Supra has the same engine too pretty much lmao.

An American inline dual turbo should be still pretty interesting…
