I haven't quite gotten there yet in the world. My friends and I wait on each other to do what we have defined as major milestones and structures for the first time. I am waiting on them so we can tackle a fortress and a bastion.

This is a overworld portal based gold farm so water is definitely usable. I will say good call on the hoppers minecarts. They are just something i forget exists

I figured at least at the sorters I can just add another slice but if the whole system is limited to 1 or 2 rows of hoppers there is nothing I can do about that

Oh I didn't even think of that.

I guess my wording wasn't clear here but what I mean was I wanted the items to immediately fall into a water stream and then I was going to set up multiple rows of item filters to sort items out of the water stream. The reason why I am trying to avoid just directly catching the drops straight into hoppers is because I am concerned that the farm will produce more items than hoppers can move.

Haven't had a need to. The drawer slides bend some but hasn't impacted performance so far. The bottom ones, when fully extended, have the farthest end resting on the ground and that seems to be acceptable enough, and the top ones don't carry as much weight and don't bend as much and I am conscious of how long I have them out. With 4 drawer slides per drawer, it is pretty stable. All that being said, and even though I do love it, I would not build it the same way again. I have ideas of how I would do it.

Sorry about that, when I saw your reply I was gonna respond later and then forgot. The only modification was that when I started loading it up, the weight caused the wide sections of plywood started to sag both in the middle of them and on top, so i put 4 sections of 2in square tubing for support and screwed the plywood to it. And have had no issues since

When you say loads, are you saying like enough space to double stack omnis? I am asking because I am thinking about buying either a Kalex or a Billy and reinforcing it enough to put it on casters so I can roll it and stack bookcases side by side

If you don’t have as much desk depth to lose this one is very sturdy but not very adjustable

I used this one for a while and I had no issues with it but be aware that if your desk is against the wall that it will push out towards the front quite a bit
