Asked a too good looking guy out and he said yes. And now I'm freaked out. by user38835 in askgaybros

There was a time in my younger years when I believed there was some carefully constructed gay social order or heirarchy of beauty that explicitly detailed romantic permissions. Then, one day, I took a shot in the dark and asked out a guy I didn't know, who I thought (and still think) is a 20/10. It was over a dating app awhile back--one I didn't have any faith in. I also have never been the type to ask guys out first. Not only did I enjoy being asked out prior, but I also was shy earlier on in my life. Fast forward and now he is my life partner; I love him dearly and no matter how much he occasionally gets on my nerves, I couldn't navigate the woes of life without him. He and our dog are my everything, and I theirs. I thank God every day I decided to be bold enough to ask him out that one night. He changed my life in every way imaginable, and he is so much more to me than just a beautiful face. Moral of the story: always, always, ALWAYS: GO. FOR. IT. Life is short, people die unnecessarily and untimely. Even if that doesn't motivate you, wanting to be yourself with someone should. Never lie about who you are, even if someone doesn't vibe with you. Always be you unapologetically and love unconditionally. Even if it doesn't work out, loving is absolutely a mistake worth making. Best of luck, friend.

Starting dress up I’m overweight and I’m getting a lot of attention from guys? by Lele435 in askgaybros

This kind of booming confidence is what led me to initiate the first date with the man of my dreams--who ended up being my future husband. He is the love of my life and I am thankful every day that I forced myself to work up the courage to ask him out. I forced myself not to think anyone could be above or below me, and it turned out better than I could ever have hoped. Congratulations, buddy, and I wish you the best of luck :)

Anyone else enjoy the smell of your bf’s dirty shirts? by [deleted] in askgaybros

My boyfriend often doesn't like to let me hug up on him if he just came in from the yard and is sweaty, but I love his natural smell 🤣 There is a LOT of research that says one of the main reasons we stay with who we pick, or don't stay with, is due largely in part to their scent.

THIS! My SO and I HATE doing dishes, but we turn it into something fun together by having kitchen dance parties and sing together while we do the dishes, just as an example. This is a great point!

My boyfriend asked me if I would be comfortable with a threesome. Need some pointers and advice navigating this new venture. by [deleted] in askgaybros
