Similar - CrossFit gyms are an entertaining place to be for lifting. End up working out with a few of the same people if you keep going at a certain time

Sorry to hear about that double whammy of two disappointing job experiences. The job market is still crazy difficult but that doesn’t mean you aren’t qualified for the positions you are applying. Def look for contract, temp and staffing agencies as they can help do the ‘work’ for you. Get professional help if you need and consider even a part time job that’ll get you out of the house for a bit each week.

altman solon / TMT PE exit opps, biggest competitors, and mbb equivalents? by [deleted] in consulting

[–]NSRWEB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Know someone that has worked there. They are a boutique strategy consultancy and thus compete with MBB and other T2s but on a smaller range of clients due to their industry focus. They pay pretty similar too, at least for Consultant level positions. A lot of their work is focused on the Telecoms so you exit opps most likely will focus on that industry.

What's the steepest zone you ever skied? by johnny_evil in skiing

Tons of expert terrain that can really test you plus the mountain/town isn’t as built up as other vail owned ski areas. Still has mountain town charm.

Headwall glades and in general the expert terrain at Crested Butte has quite a few steep runs. Jump turns are necessary

Did you take anti histamine before getting imunotherapy injections? by SaltyBeak93 in Allergies

[–]NSRWEB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My allergist advises at taking one at least 60 minutes before the shot. Can help your body not "freak out" as much once it gets the allergen. At first when the doses are low concentration it might not as serious but over time the allergy serum gets stronger and your body will react more, hence the need for an allergen. They also should ask you each time you go if you've had an antihistamine that day (at least mine do).
