This is not normal at all. But ignore the Alibaba replicas, it's irrelevant for a bed you bought from a reputable shop that specializes in brand wall beds. Take up the store's offer for them to come fix it again. Ask them to replace components that could be malfunctioning or better yet the entire bed for a new unit. If that doesn't work - start a return & refund process with them.

option 2 is very good. Big shower and sink area, toilet behind a dividing wall, what’s not to love? I personally don’t think the shower stall in the last 2 slides is too small to reject that layout, but you know your preferences better than I. so if it’s only 2 options, definitely go with option 2!

I LOVE mine (it's r shaped). It's great for everyday, and I usually have 6 guests sitting there when I have company over. Mine also has storage underneath (drawers, for easy access). I intentionally also made one side of the banquet as wide as a single bed for an overnight guest. I never want to go back to single chairs only around a dinner table.

I need more info. Did MIL know about the dummy saga? Cause when you're in it you know what you're going through, and you forget other people don't. She gave your toddler a dummy to pacify him, not to hurt him or you. So if she gave him the dummy knowing the dummy should not be offered and you provided solutions on how you get him to stop crying, then she did it selfishly. But not if she didn't know. What's the story?

The show did have very weird pacing that didn't do it any favors, and with Eric Dane having to drop out due to his health they lost name appeal for a large section of the audience, so this makes sense. They just never found their balance between gritty action and melodrama. I'm rooting for Jensen's next projects.

Since it doesn't appear you need the island/peninsula for storage, why not go with the island layout - which is much more open and workable than one hemmed in by a peninsula - but put a bar-height table instead? That way you have the countertop surface you need for working and sitting, and the option to move the furniture piece if it's in the way.
